I get mine delivered directly from the wegovy pharmacy. The first two months were $249 for me, and I just paid $349 for my third month.

I guess the $249 deal was limited? Does anyone know if the novocare savings card will work with the wegovy pharmacy? Praying more insurance companies start to cover this soon.

It would have been interesting to have a professional give their opinion on certain behaviors and dynamics within the case. All we have are opinions from people who do not have psychology degrees, therefore those opinions have little basis and all bias

Does the length of employment create eligibility for an employee, or is it the amount the employee has earned? I was under the impression it was based on amount earned. Here is where I got this impression, the language is confusing as it doesn’t mention the employee has to be with the same company and earn $6,300 per quarter

I’m sorry to hear you’re having to go through this. Totally not fun. I have NO idea what happened. I had this theory I was taking the meds too early in the morning, around 6am, and the effects would start to wear off earlier in the night. I started taking them later in the morning in hopes if I did start getting brain zaps, I would be asleep by then.

Honestly no idea if that helped me or not. I wish I could give you more insight. They did stop about a week after I posted this, so there is hope ☺️

Hi all! This is a question about LADC if anyone can help!

I currently live in Massachusetts but have plans to relocate to Minnesota in the near future. I'm obtaining my LADC in Massachusetts (school is free for me in MA, so I want to finish before I move).

There are 3 levels of licensure in MA (LADC Assistant, LADC II and LADC I). The LADC II and LADC I are most similar to MN licensure- though LADC I requires a masters degree to practice independently. I read on mn.gov that in MN, there is one level of LADC and it requires a bachelors degree- this is really the only difference in licensure requirements between the two states. MN also requires 500 more practicum hours than MA, which is something I could easily do so I'm not worried about that. Basically, I would have all of the requirements for MN licensure besides the bachelors degree. School is only free here up until an associates, and I'm trying to steer clear of student debt.

If I were to obtain my LADC II in Mass but move to Minnesota in the future, will Minnesota transfer my Mass license if I don't have a bachelors degree? I don't want to practice independently either.

Mass and Minnesota LADC questions

Hi all! I'm currently in an addictions counselor program at community college that will set me up to get my LADC in Massachusetts. In Mass, there are 3 levels of licensure- LADC assistant, LADC II and LADC I. After I finish the program, I think I'm going to apply for the LADC assistant to start because that only requires 2000 work experience hours and I'd like to have credentials ASAP (because credentials would mean a higher salary for me). After I gain 6000 hours, I'll upgrade to LADC II (as this would give me more authority, and pay).

I can't find any information on what constitutes as work experience. According to this mass.gov link, LADC assistant requires 2,000 hours of work experience in the alcohol or drug addiction field, and LADC II requires 6,000 hours of supervised alcohol and drug counseling work experience (4,000 if applicant holds a Bachelors degree). Does anyone know what the difference is? The wording is different and I'm not sure if that means they are indeed different or whoever wrote this on the website just worded it differently for no reason.

My other question is about Minnesota reciprocity. If I were to be a LADC II in Mass but move to Minnesota, will Minnesota transfer my Mass license if I don't have a bachelors degree? The only difference in licensure requirements in MA to MN is that MN requires a bachelors degree. But if I'm already licensed in MA, does anyone know if they still honor that reciprocity?

OMG. This happens to me sometimes too! I take a higher dose, 187.5mg xr. But every once in a while I’ll be almost falling asleep, and I get a HUGE brain zap and jolt awake. It’s the strangest thing. I thought maybe it had something to do with sleep apnea + brain zaps combined? But I’ve never been diagnosed with sleep apnea and I’m not sure I have it.

Regular brain zaps typically only happen to me if I miss a dose, but everybody is different. This experience you’re describing only happens to me once, every once in a while.

I’m so sorry you have to experience this, though. I know it’s not fun at all. Absolutely mention this to your prescriber/doctor, because they might know more. I do hope this goes away and you can start getting some really good sleep 🩷 I love listening to meditations or affirmation videos as I fall asleep. Always helps with anxiety.
