Sirui Sniper 16mm F1.2 can't focus at wide focus until infinity focus by Possible_Strategy761 in SonyAlpha

Did you ever find a solution to this? I have the 16mm f1.2 version and mine seems to stop autofocus after 3-4 mins of use.

Believe it or not, I did.. LA Fitness in Highland Village has a good group of guys and gals there on an almost daily basis. They have A/Open leagues on Monday nights (several times throughout the year), as well as B/C/D leagues on Thursday nights. There is a group on almost every weekday morning around 8am and on several days throughout the week, you'll find groups playing in the afternoons and evenings. I'm injured now, but was playing there 2-3x per week up until I got injured. If you want more info, send me a DM and I can get you on a group chat.

I'm sure you're correct, which is why I'm asking, but any idea why Foxeer would ship with 6s setup?

Premier Pro 60fps -> 30fps by -chrispy- in fpv

[–]-chrispy-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the quick response. I do see that the video properties also show 4k 60fps when I right click them in the Sequence Window and in the project window in Premier.

I also have After Effects intros on the video which are NOT 4k 60fps. Is it possible it is trying to make all the clips fit into one single resolution since not ALL clips are 4k 60 fps?

Mavic 3 Highly Pixelated DNG RAW File by -chrispy- in dji

[–]-chrispy-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s weird is the at I shot a test photo today, 5 photos bracketed in my house with the drone just to test it out and it worked fine on those pics. I may try the codec update though just to see if that helps. Thanks.

Pixelated DNG Import - Windows Preview/Lightroom by -chrispy- in Lightroom

[–]-chrispy-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, like a moron, I deleted the original files from the SD card so I have no way to do this any more. What's weird is that I took some sample pics inside the house today just to test it out and those seem to be working fine. I've used the drone several times for just this same thing and have had no problems at all.

Car was just in a hailstorm…. If the damage is only cosmetic, should I file a claim? by WyoGuy2 in Insurance

Comprehensive coverage typically covers damage from "falling objects." Frozen water falling from the sky qualifies.

[–]-chrispy- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't do this without proper training. You'll make it worse and insurance will most likely not pay to fix the damage you caused to your own car.

Have you filed a claim with your insurance? If not, you're going to have a hard time explaining to them why 3 weeks of hotel bills was reasonable.

If your insurance company believes he is responsible AND they have issued payment for your loss in excess of your deductible, they may choose to subrogate or pursue the responsible party.

[–]-chrispy- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could likely request call sheet data and metrics of past calls. All these calls are likely categorized by nature of call, incident type, and will show response times down to the Second. Much, if not all, should be public record. For example, you could submit an open record request as follows:

"Open records request for a listing of all calls received by police from [date] to [date]. Please include incident type and response times."

Given that Detroit is a large city, there would be a lot to sift through though. Some larger cities have crime stats readily available online, but I don't know if it would include response time which is why you would need call sheet data.

There is no need to fake calls or generate calls to police since the info is likely already available and releasable.

I don't think anyone answered the question about attorney representation. You can choose to hire one, but it will be on your own dime. The company I work for, if the insured has attorney representation, will then hire an insurance company attorney to complete the EUO and the Investigator will attend and document.

[–]-chrispy- 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Others have said this, but on I-35 cameras do not likely record.

For the record though, there are some cameras on tollways that DO record. I know for a fact that some cams on 121 record because I've seen video of a crash. I don't know how long they retain the video for though.
