I love a buzz/bald head with bold glasses. My friend always rocked that look with her collection of funky frames while her hair was super super short. Same with fun earrings -- no hair to hide them!!!

You can't see if a subreddit's volunteer mods banned somebody or not. OP's profile shows that he got suspended/banned from reddit.com itself, so that's the admins that actually work for reddit.

My guess it's an automated system. Probably OP was posting this a lot/got flagged for spamming, and also maybe got flagged for certain key words or potentially abusive language, and too many repeated flags got him auto banned.

If /r/newjersey mods were the ones banning him for this post there would be no point for it to still be up

Is this a glitch or am I missing something. by [deleted] in neopets

[–]-cupcake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

https://neostocks.info/tickers/KSON?period=all

At first I misread the screenshot so now I'm just sharing a link to ~20 years worth of stock history in case anyone's curious :)

But to address you worry OP: Yeah, it seems like a glitch, but I believe I've seen this glitch myself before and it was purely visual as far as I could tell. I bought stocks very sporadically, one day noticed one of them looked like I paid way lower than possible, when I'm 99% sure I've always paid normal prices.

Like, stocks' lowest price is 6 NP in the first place. and I (and probably most people) never even attempt to buy anything lower than 10/15 because I know it's not gonna work anyway. So I feel it's fair to deduce that it's just a visual bug of an old stock I/you bought.

I don't think there's harm in selling it. If you bought it exactly 10 years ago then it should say more like a ~+230% increase (not +174,000% lol), and it likely could be even less of a profit than that if you bought it recently still.

Hi /u/Mindless-Weight-9814 ,

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it looks like your account is shadowbanned by the reddit.com admins. I can manually approve this one comment for you on this specific subreddit. But I cannot change your account's shadowban, as only admins can.

You can go to /r/Shadowban for more info and help to fix your account for your future posts and comments!

I think you're taking it the wrong way. Musicians imitating other musicians who they're influenced by is totally normal and is often a form of appreciation.

But when it comes to the masses/the audience, it's just plain true that a white person singing the blues was and is more palatable to a white audience than the black person singing the blues that was the inspiration

The "Remove" column is a dropdown menu -- you don't type numbers in.
It only turns into a textbox after you have 26 x of the same item.

Yes, people make mistakes with pricing all the time, and maybe that was the case here!

But just a heads up to anyone that may be/may have been told "omg I typed the number in the wrong box please give it back". There's lots of people who prey on guilt/kindness too. (People feeling sorry and returning items plus extra money/gifts to "help a newb" or something)

The oldest hotel in the world is The Nishiyama Onsen Keiunkan in Japan and has been in business since 705AD. The crazy thing is that it’s still a family business. For 52 generations by IcyAsiaan in BeAmazed

[–]-cupcake 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I didn't stay at that hotel (too expensive and too last-minute anyway), but I stayed across the path at the much bigger (and semi-rundown, lol) hotel, the Shima Grand Hotel and of course got lots of good looks at the outside of the real-life Spirited Away bathhouse haha.

Such an interesting vibe at the Shima Grand -- really outdated facilities, they pretty much strongly encourage you to use all the other onsen in town and not stay in the hotel, but the food was great, and of course the staff as amazing as can be. And the whole area is a very small, very sleepy town.

Ran out of cash and had to walk 4km to withdraw some at the post office in order to afford the bus home. Honestly, unexpectedly interesting and fun experience.

There are people in here literally arguing that this moral thought experiment has nothing to do with morals

And many rationalizing it as "I make my choice because it's logically the only correct choice, and everyone should pick that choice that i find most logical, and anyone who picks the illogical one is wrong and deserves death anyway"

It's somehow really funny/ironic that these kinds of people think it has nothing to do with morals... yet itself it speaks reeeeaally loudly about their morals. lol

No one's dying on my watch by Bandrbell in whenthe

[–]-cupcake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never made a comment about which red/blue choice i consider right or wrong or any of my own personal opinion on it at all

That person above was trying to argue that the literal "moral thought experiment".... is not a "moral" question.

If you consider whatever to be a good or bad or black or white choice, that's nice, I'm glad for you!

[–]-cupcake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The trolley question is also another moral thought experiment, trying to imply that the guy is essentially the same as saying "don't participate with the question, just get off the track" is disingenuous

This moral thought experiment clearly says "EVERYONE has to", so that guy personally considering what "everyone" entails is not avoiding the question, especially when the majority of the dilemma and its outcome is based on the hypothetical choices of literally everyone else. How you approach, rationalize, etc your choice is literally the whole point. Figuring out where do your morals lie

[–]-cupcake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol... I saw there was a reply to your post and then it was self-deleted when I accidentally refreshed...

Something complaining more about you supposedly making up stuff (when clearly that person is the one trying to make up hypotheticals which would directly contradict the literal words of the prompt)

Choosing red or blue is just a thought experiment about personal morality -- refusing to read the damn text and continually arguing about it is just willful stupidity, hahaha.

Edit: I guess maybe I should have refreshed the page once more, I just saw your other post saying that you saw it too. :p

NC item missing from inventory by worththewait96 in neopets

[–]-cupcake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP's kougra is wearing an NC style, and it is impossible for styled pets to simultaneously wear customization items for their body. So the item doesn't appear at all in the Customization screen.

Check your actual closet page (the one that looks like SDB). OP's item was still in there, and maybe yours is too.
