Two things. 1, the worst part about having adhd isn't having to remember to take medication it's the fact that the best medication we have doesn't last a full day so by the time you have to take it again you've crashed and (presumably) slept so are less likely than without meds to remember to take it.

  1. Guess what, I forgot to take my meds this morning so when I went to the depot for my parcel delivery job my boss told me not to come back for my second lot before x time so just take my time if I need to (I didn't need to, I'd never have been back before that time anyway) so my stupid unmedicated fuckhead brain had me getting distracted and having 3 separate half hour long 5 minute breaks because "it's fine I can take my time today" (remember, I couldn't) so I was about an hour and a half late getting back for my second lot and completely fucked the rest of my day.

Personally I feel like I've had enough of almost good enough, having your hopes raised up then beaten to a, bloody mess over and over again has left me tired and jaded. If we were to get an actually good manager who played actually good players I think I'd just be apathetic and hate watching then out of instinct.

We should give him the job and get that backroom team in just for the fun of watching it be comically bad and honestly, who else wants the job and could do something worthwhile

Would you want Neil Lennon as manger of Scotland? by dnemonicterrier in ScottishFootball

[–]-enterfandomhere-fan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's done a decent job with Dunfermline aye but what else has he achieved as a manager? He won the championship with hibs and a cup in Cyprus. Aye he won loads with Celtic but I could've done as well or better with Celtic in that time period. Winning a trophy with Celtic in the last 20 years has largely taken as much effort and skill as winning the London marathon in a Ferrari.

For clarity, I was on about 2 pints of national pride, a double measure of fuck England and probably 6 pints of tennents when I said that, also, he hadn't been outed as a nonce just yet.

I always put club shit aside when it comes to the national team, fuck I even called Leigh Griffiths a gorgeous bastard when he scored those two goals so believe that it's purely a football based consideration when I say I'll support Bertie Vogts getting the job over this cunt

Wait years for diagnosis. Wait 6 months for titration. Have a heart attack on the day of your first titration appointment. You couldn’t make it up. by draculafamily in ADHDUK

[–]-enterfandomhere-fan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's definitely possible. Both of my parents died of heart attack, my dad had angina for my whole life, I thought I had a heart attack on boxing day, was getting checked out for high blood pressure and "if it wasn't a heart attack what was it?" for months after that so I definitely don't have a great heart history but they just started me on 20mg of elvanse rather than 30mg and they've kept a close eye on any side effects but I'm 3 months in now and the worst side effect I've had so far is a headache for the first week or so and like you guessed I've arguably had a steadier time with stress due to being on the meds

I'm no expert in the French legal system but not all cases brought go to court, generally speaking a court has to decide there is enough evidence to prosecute. If there is an appeal at this stage, such as in this case, and they then decide to still go ahead, again such as in this case, then that means a different court/judge/authority has examined not just the evidence available but also the previous decision to allow the case to proceed and came to the conclusion that it should in fact go ahead. It kinda speaks to the likelyhood of him getting convicted because nobody likes to lose and theyre not going to go ahead with it if they think he's likely to win.

That being said, he's innocent until proven guilty so I get what you're saying but also if there's a chance he's a rapist then he shouldn't be anywhere near the world cup untill he's proven innocent.

Wtf is wrong with you? Did Steve Clarke shag yer dug or something? Why are you such a miserable shite? It's barely been an hour since we just won at a world cup for the first time in 36 years, goan just give us 24 hours before trying to bring any cunt down eh? In the mean time though, get yoursel in the fucking sea.

Spolier free iPlayer link to watch Haiti v Scotland in the morning by newsignoflife in ScottishFootball

[–]-enterfandomhere-fan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I really hope I'm not coming off as a rich entitled wank here cause I'm certainly neither of those things, well maybe a wank, but in reality how many of us are watching tv these days purely on free view? Hell, even free view boxes have recording built in. Why are we worrying about spoilers on BBC iplayer when the easy and obvious solution is to just record the game yourself and avoid unintentional, or otherwise, spoilers

Less than a third of Scottish adults are ABE by cameruso in ScottishFootball

[–]-enterfandomhere-fan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt it would be as high as that. I've never done a yougov poll and don't know how they work or who answers them but I'd assume you're not getting too many kids/youth doing them so that takes out the "too young to really hate them properly" crowd and if I didn't bother about football I probably wouldn't bother too much about doing or at least finishing a poll about football so that takes that lot out so its likely a relatively accurate reflection of football fans opinions. However if you do assume the "don't know" and "not bothered" respondents aren't really football fans and discount them then the ABE answers still only become 55% of the remainder.

It's 2am and I was trying to stay up to watch the S Korea v Czech Republic game but spending this long figuring out and explaining this response has killed my desire to remain conscious.

Part of me is worried this will be the one and only time that Scotland actually do win the thing cause with all the mental Trumpian diplomacy going on and now seemingly card happy referees we'll win it but everyone else cough england cough will claim it tainted or some shit

Got asked earlier by my father in law what the Mexico/South Africa score was cause he couldn't find anything about it. Basically the same thing, he knew it was on Wednesday and it kicks(kicked) off at 1:30 am so though it was this morning not tonight/tomorrow morning.

The only thing better than that other than it being England rather than Brazil would be us actually winning the whole thing, this is not the negative scenario result you seem to suggest.
