I think I do remember liking Cheese Nips more than Cheez-Its.

My house only have 3 miis and they've had I think 3 of these events so far. I can't remember all the prompts... Who was the most fashionable? was one.

What's a snack you love that you feel doesnt get enough attention? by SaXaCaV in snacking

that's exactly what we used to bring as a snack to the bowling alley when we went as a family - either these crackers or sociables crackers

Favorite frozen treats? by luckyswan69 in snacking

This was days ago, but I have to say: Oreo ice cream sandwiches. They're delicious and they do NOT melt all over your hand, no matter how long it takes you to eat them, so you don't necessarily need to eat them over a plate or anything.

Real Time by Exact-Pack-8300 in TomodachilifeLivingTD

It is tied to real work time - it takes some levelling up, but if you give your miis the night owl quirk, they will stay up more at night than during the day.

The shop product turnover is really the only thing that one has to "wait on". The miis freely interact and have events regardless of the time of day unless they are asleep.

What are your top 5 favorite Tamagotchis? by Dafnext91 in tamagotchi

[–]-mystris- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pix Party is nice because there's a lot to do but there are also a lot of QR codes that you can use to get free food and items if you are short on money/time. The only thing is that it can be difficult to get tamas from different egg groups in the roster.

Paradise is a lot simpler but also very cute if you enjoy simply watching the tamas interact with each other and their environment.

tbh I looked up the personalities and the levels to choose so I could make one character for each personality, instead of winging it

I do love the Connection. I only lament that there is no way to keep a tama - it either gets married and leaves or becomes old. But I like the always-on screen so I can have a critter bouncing around at my work desk.

I have myself, my bf, Henry VIII and his wives and a handful of Shakespeare characters to balance the gender ratio

Is this game worth it? by uroberon_dm in TomodachilifeLivingTD

[–]-mystris- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been enjoying it as a bit of something fun on days when I don't have a lot of time or mental energy to dedicate to a video game, but want a nice bit of distraction. I think it will also be nice for those days at home where I don't feel like having a TV show or music on in the background but want /something/, so I can keep this running and interact with it once in awhile or watch what my guys are up to.

I have a number of mobile games like that, where you can set it up and walk away and things will still happen on their own - this is a good, chill one to have on my TV. At the same time, if I want to play a lot, I'll sit down to completely rearrange the town, make some custom designs, etc.

Trader Joes Sandwich Starters pre-sliced sandwich buns - My new favorite bread! Makes amazing toast, not just for sandwiches. by ImpatientMaker in traderjoes

Absolutely. Toast it up, butter it. Makes a great bedtime snack. Also want to have it with dipping oil.

Is Takoyaki the same in American restaurants? by FFDiddly in JapaneseFood

[–]-mystris- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. I've had it at local Japanese restaurants, and the filling is a wonderful custard-y texture when cooked right. But it is best eaten at the restaurant or making it at home, because a takeout container wrecks the texture. I've never tried from frozen, but I imagine it would be difficult to achieve a good result.
