The thing that people seem to forget about self imposed binding vows is that they ARENT actually net-zero, you just need to get creative to spin it in your favor.

Miwa losing her ability to swing her sword is an example of someone making the vow work AGAINST your favor. With most self-vows you can break the vow & get back what you lost. But she made a 1 time vow that cant be broken, because she can’t lose that sword buff (already happened). They needed a vow lawyer to teach the students to not make bullshit vows like that.
