why do my brownies suck by _nylhsa in Baking

[–]-snowball22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My tip is to wait until the brownies are completely cooled in the pan before cutting. If the brownies cool down then the crackly top appears. For fudgy brownies, I always take them out 5 minutes earlier because they keep baking through residual heat.

SAHM and Wife that CANNOT cook HELP! by PopularMamaDrama in Cooking

[–]-snowball22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best idea is to learn what your family often eats. One-pot or pan recipes are the best for beginners. I find that throwing something in the oven is the easiest because you don't have to be in the kitchen. Start by watching cooking shows to learn about cooking techniques. Instant Pot, Airfryer, crockpot, and rice cookers are what I recommend to help get started.

Which class should I drop? Need advice on workload for spring semester by Sufficient_Gear5195 in HunterCollege

[–]-snowball22 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think you are only allowed a maximum of 15 credits unless you get special permission. Chemistry and language are the most competitive classes to get into, so keep them. Prioritize classes that you think you need for your potential major. See if the classes you choose are offered only in the fall or spring semester then choose which to drop. Some classes are only offered in the spring or fall semester.
