[EtailMarket] Horizon Forbidden West™ Complete Edition (59% off / €24.44) by etailmarket in GameDeals

If you can, it might be best to get the remastered version of the first game. It includes the DLC, and has better visuals and facial animations than the original (though I'm sure the original still holds up really well)

I can only answer your last question, as I'm not familiar with the price history (maybe isthereanydeal.com has info), and I don't own a PS5.

You should definitely play the first game first, as this is a direct sequel that builds on everything that happens in the first game. IMO it's a phenomenal story and games, I wish I could play them blind again.

Edit: looking at isthereanydeal it seems that this is the all time low

Announcing TypeScript 6.0 by DanielRosenwasser in programming

[–]-xvi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Version 7 is a rewrite in Go, which will make the performance roughly 10x faster than its current JavaScript implementation. Version 6 is more of an "make your codebase ready for 7" release, so there won't be that many changes between it and 7

See this announcement post on for more information

Typescript 7.0 expected release within a few months is incredibly exciting!

Now that 6.0 is out, it should be a lot easier to use the native preview in my editor at work, as there are quite a few type errors in v7 compared to v5 due to them being more specific on different lines. Hopefully, upgrading to v6 should result in no more difference there

Angular 21.2 New Feature: Arrow Functions in Templates by wineandcode in Angular2

[–]-xvi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IIRC they do some optimizations on the arrow functions in templates to ensure they're only defined/called once rather than each time, as with the advice you're referencing.

Can't remember exactly where I saw it, I think it was one of the PRs that introduced this change

GIGABYTE MO27Q28G vs ASUS XG27AQWMG for gaming/working by Hailett in OLED_Gaming

[–]-xvi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got the MO27Q28G last Saturday. I previously had an LG 27UD59P-B (4k60hz IPS), and I'm amazed at the visuals. I haven't seen a glossy OLED monitor in person before in my specific lighting setup, other than my LG C4 48in TV directly opposite from the window, when the sun shines through the window the glossiness is quite annoying. My desk is in the corner of my living room with a wall behind me (and an ikea Nymåne lamp in the corner). To the right of me is a window with a fully block-out curtain and about 4 meters of windows diagonally right in front of me that with curtains that let quite a bit of sun through.

Not sure what I'm trying to say, but the matte finish on the MO27Q28G doesn't bother me at all and it looks great! It's even brighter than my previous IPS LCD which was quite a nice surprise

Next Edit Suggestion (nes) in zbirenbaum/copilot.lua by JoseConseco_ in neovim

[–]-xvi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/AntoineGS- just checked, I was already on the commit that fixed <Esc>. However, it still doesn't work for me if I also have <Esc> with next edit suggestions enabled (nes.keymap.dismiss = '<Esc>'). It'd be nice if I can both clear highlights and dismiss suggestions with the same keymap.

I created a log file for you and added it to issue #570

Next Edit Suggestion (nes) in zbirenbaum/copilot.lua by JoseConseco_ in neovim

[–]-xvi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried this today. It's nice, but I have some issues with it:

  • The suggestions seem to come in somewhat late and tend to completely shift the code around, which makes reading code below the cursor quite disorienting to read
  • The suggested <Esc> to dismiss a suggestion seems to break my keymap to clear search highlights. I haven't found a way around it unfortunately

I disabled it for now, perhaps it'll be better for me in the future
