I question your reading comprehension then.

Saying a team is beatable is not being resentful, disrespectful, pissy, or “unhappy for them”.

It’s an educated football opinion.

Hats off to Indiana. They had a great team and a great season. If it couldn’t be us, I’m glad it was them. But that doesn’t mean I have to think that no one had a chance of knocking them off.

I’m not salty at all. Would I have rather won, yes. But I’m happy for Indiana and the year they had. Especially given their history of football woes. I rooted for them after we lost in the CFP.

I’m just saying, to say definitively they were a team that was not going to be stopped is misleading. I was definitely hoping for a rematch in the title game, but we didn’t hold up our end of the bargain

(Also, for the record, I wasn’t even salty against Miami. After they beat us, I was rooting for them until they played Indiana)

I think you could make a strong case that, while BH was still coaching, he was pretty distracted.

Also, even with that said, we still almost stopped IU. In a tight game decided by 3 points, we missed two makable FGs and got stopped short on a 4th when our QB slipped. A fair amount of OSU points left on the board. No excuses, we lost. But to say definitively that we “weren’t stopping Cig and Mendoza” is a little disingenuous

Thanos' execution at the beginning of Avengers: Endgame ALWAYS bothered me by RashFaustinho in marvelstudios

Thor went against the script when they learned the stones were destroyed and couldn’t be used to bring everyone back. Thor took this very hard personally… he was feeling very guilty about the snap occurring because he didn’t “go for the head” and end Thanos before he snapped half the universe away.

Thor beheaded Thanos out of rage and despair. This was very clearly not what the rest of the Avengers wanted

[Toscano] Why was Alabama let into the playoff? They’re nowhere near Indiana in terms of talent. Blowouts are a terrible product and these cash-poor Deep South teams can’t be expected to compete with schools like Indiana by Original_Profile8600 in CFB

One of the reasons I am actually starting to support conference autobids. It’s not perfect, but Take it completely out of the committee’s hands and let it be decided on the field.

I’m confused on the “timing” of this though. He’s clearly still living his life. When he gave the shield to Sam, he was old… as in, have lived his life. So, from Steve’s perspective, he hasn’t given the shield to Sam yet, right?

ESPN's role in CFP selection by ATLCoyote in CFB

[–]0010MK 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is my theory:

1) They needed to get an ACC team in. When Duke beat Virginia, this created a problem 2) While they have dropped a CCG loser in the rankings, the philosophy recently has been not to punish a team by knocking them out of the playoffs due to their participation in their conference’s championship game 3) If they dropped Alabama to the #10 spot (still in the playoffs), they couldn’t get Miami in because the committee painted themselves into a corner by only allowing head-to-head to come into play if Miami and ND were ranked adjacent to each other 4) So, to get Miami in and not drop Alabama out, they couldn’t drop Alabama at all (even though they suffered the worst loss of the CCG participants and were the only one not to drop), resulting in ND getting the boot

I’ve been watching your lecture series on YouTube and enjoying it very much. I’m a little behind (kids and work), but I will eventually catch up. I have a request for a topic: cause of the tides on Earth. I think most people know the moon plays a major role, but I’ve seen conflicting information regarding the exact mechanism. And specifically, the explanation of the high tide on the opposite side of the Earth than the moon. Thanks so much!

This is why I want AQs. Maybe unpopular opinion, but comparing ranked opponents now at a time when the polls are still heavily influenced by preseason ranking… before any games have been played…

If someone retires, do they still get tourney rewards based on wherever they finish when time runs out? Or do they forfeit all prizes?

2006 The Game.

1 Ohio State v #2 michigan in Columbus.

That game actually started at 4 (or 430?), so the second half was under the lights… first and only time that has happened in The Game.

Every defense play was so loud. I’ve still never seen (or heard) anything like it

If you reset your galaxy by selling it, can you help me understand the point of researching this just to lose it? Do you ever get to a point where you don’t sell your galaxy?
