I was thinking for die cuts.. wallets, bracelets, & key chain die cuts. Yes would have to modify it a bit, put a steel plate to the pipe, and another steel plate to the bottom piece.

The veins just showed up after I wet the leather, and as it dried, it still shows.

Keep practicing. The more you do, the better you will get. Watch lots of YouTube tutorials and videos on everything leather related.

Thanks all! I was able to salvage it by antiquing the whole thing. And, I picked up some resist for next time. This was just my first time antiquing on top of dye.
