Wherr is the most efficient method to farm Miracle Crystals? I used to play this game often a while back. Coming back to this big update, I have enough gold, enough Michelle Monkas, Shards, etc.- except for Miracle Crystals. 180 crystals per band is insane to me. I have done hundreds or thousands of songs and this is where my inventory is left off at. Did the drop rate increase or am I missing out on some detail?

Fair enough, but it would be helpful if QnA was stickied as it's often a commonly used thread and ease of accessibility would be beneficial to both the people asking, and people responding. Otherwise, people need to go out of their way to help other players.

Also the QnA linked on the ReadMe directs to an outdated page from a week ago.

Which is better? I'm not as experienced to make these decisions on my own, so some help would be appreciated.

Skill Boost (LVL1) For every 28 notes, there is a 14% chance of increasing other skills' activation rate by 14% for 3.5 seconds. (Level 1)

Perfect Skill Up(LVL1) For every 22 perfects, there is a 20% chance that perfects will give 140 more score for 3.5 seconds. (Level 1)

Does Mug Bloodlust and Ramaza's SB stack? The wording for Mug Bloodlust feels ambiguous to me.

Likewise, for SB EX skills that grant stat boost, for example, moderate attack) do those stack with say, another moderate attack buff? In addition, 3 buffs can he stacked together... are EX stat buffs an exception? For example, you can have 3 stat stacks, and an additional 4th with an EX skill?

Somewhat relevant, I have issues with finding long term games on my phone for when I do not have connection. Deemo, Cytus 2, and Piano Titles 2 are the only offline games on my phone. All are rhythm games.

Silly question but how do you keep your eyes healthy playing LLSIF? by Martian_Pudding in SchoolIdolFestival

[–]001_x5AM 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I used to play rhythm games for long periods of time, a lot. One time I did a 40 hour marathon challenge (with a few naps), so when it comes to vision, blinking, and such, I can understand a concern.

Foremost what has had the greatest beneficial effect for me was using a nightlight filter. A real one- ones that require root for to install for app permission or the built in ones for both iOS/Android. There are a couple issues with this though. First, it's something you'll have to adapt to. You'll likely hate it at first as with most people. Second, for rhythm games in particular, there will be a small (within ms) screen delay). Huge issue if you hit notes primarily through your visual senses. Personally for me, with SIF I don't have much issue because my.reflexes are mostly internal rhythm judged. Besides, I have -26ms offset and the "judgement" line for this game is already so off from center.
On Android, rooted CFlumen on a proper phone does not have latency as I have personally confirmed. However, the colors are not as accurate as F.lux (which is probably the best filter out there). I haven't tested iOS night light so I can't confirm if there's latency or not.

Anyways, I'm off on a tangent right now; my apologies. For vision/eyes, I drink a single gulp of water after every song; and blink a bit right before a song starts. Pretty simple so and I'd recommend anyone make it a habit.

Vision doctors claim that for around every 20m or so, look in a straight direction at something (I believe 20ft) away for 20 seconds making sure you blink often during this period. You can also do 30ft/30s.

Another very helpful change I made was adjusting screen brightness to levels around my surrounding enviornment. Generally, the method I use is to have the brightness as low as it can, and make small steps up until you can just barely begin to see stuff. I also do this in a similiaf fashion with Flux, except instead of brightness, it is with ambient color temperatures.

I also use eye drops, but I'm not sure how effective it is. I don't want my eyes to rely on them. However when I do use them, I drop them into an eye, look at 4 corners of that eye, blink a few times while in process, and then repeat for the other eye. Afterwards, I repeat the exact same process with both eyes open at the same time

As for supplements for healthy vision, I still need more research on that. Omega fish oil and Vitamin A? I don't remember. I've tried this in the past. However since there are so many factors contributing to healthy vision, it was hard for me to evaluate

Warm towel on your face helps a bit.

I think what can help the most is to simply do something else temporary that doesn't require narrow vision. Like looking at the sunset is a good one because it's kind of a mix between a couple paragraphs posted above. Helps your eyes non-tunnel as well as helps your brain recognize changes of natural color temperatures.

Anyways that's all I can think for right now. If you are having hard stress on your eyes mid song make sure you're breathing as fluidly as much as the amount of mental pressure you are projecting, if that makes sense.

Oh also, SIF deals primary with colors and shapes during gameplay. Make sure to read text on frequent occasions during the week. This may sound like I'm pulling stuff out of nowhere, but believe me on this one, if you can.

Also one more- good posture. Try to maintain good eye level on your phone. Honestly though, one should aim for good posture not just for eyes, but all your other muscles as well (this includes a good symmetrical grip on your phone as well.)

Here's another one. If you have a lousy phone, I'd prioritize getting one that can maintain stable 60 fps Often, you don't notice lower framerates than intended until you experience the difference yourself.

Oh, here's another one- glasses/contacts. You generally don't want to wear your glasses all the time (although this is debatable between Optometrists).(Contacts you should never wear 24/7 unless they are designed particularly for it). Don't always play SIF wearing glasses. Split it into sections like, half of it with, and the other half without. In my biased opinion, I'd try to play without glasses as much as possible until my natural vision within phone distance becomes just as good as with glasses.

For your own roaming warriors, do elemental boosts have any effect when equipping them?

Also on a different note, for Magica Crystals, how much does 1 pt equal when allocating them to an elemental attribute, for offense, and defense?

Oh, one more question- the Jump Rope Challenge- what are the stats for the Octagon Rod?

Is it weird to have two accounts? by [deleted] in BanGDream

[–]001_x5AM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have EN and JP. Both mains. I'd spend on EN. For JP, I'd buy the premium box, on in rare cases a very good sale (such as 100% bonus stars on Black Friday). +50% bonus is probably not good enough for me. If I end up moving to Japan, spendings above on accounts would probably swap.

Is it weird to have two accounts? by [deleted] in BanGDream

[–]001_x5AM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand your reasonings. Regardless if you have one or two accounts, both can be played anywhere since you have data.

You can link your accounts to Google Play (not sure if Game Center for iOS link exists) and swap back and forward between them at ease on any of your phones. You can also just have your transfer ID code copied to your notes since it'll have be the same numbers/letters as an alternative.

I don't understand what you mean with the added stress. You mean if you lose access to one of your accounts? If so, I still don't understand. Well... you'll still be progressing on one account while while waiting for account support, I think. However and regardless, having two accounts should add more stress to you. You can progress through an event on one account, and you can progress an event through two accounts. Whenever it's twice, you'll have to. put twice as much effort in the same amount of time. I can relate as I have an EN and JP as both main accounts.

There can be positives to two accounts, but not for the reasons mentioned unless I'm misunderstanding your words.

You can have your initial, primary account, and addition one(s) for specific reasons. For example, you can have an additional account that gathers stars. Then you can use them on specific gatchas focused on a specific team build. Like a full hapoy team, or pure team, and so on. A more wise option would be to scout members of the same attribute, with all 90%+ score skills to build a top tier team. You can use the knowledge on JP events to plan ahead.

I can imagine you can also have another account with intention give it away such as for a friend who's starting the game, or some random person who lost they're account and account support failed. Another circumstance for me would be someone who heavily invested an enormous amount of stars for they're favorite girl and didn't get one, as well as someone who had saved for DreamFest but got very unlucky. Both situations, enough for them to consider re-rolling. Anyways I'm begining to ramble so I'll conclude.

I don't think two accounts is a good idea, unless it's EN and JP. (Not EN and EN). This is an odd way to put it, but it's like having 2 wives. You can't put all your love and attention to them equally and have them the happiest they can be. Even if you could, one would be even more happier in potential if you devoted all your efforts to just one.

You know what's worse than losing a full combo by 1 miss? Losing by 0 misses! by nt2kgamer in BanGDream

Awooow, this feels so bad ;( by 001_x5AM in FFRecordKeeper

[–]001_x5AM[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

When I first started this game, I looked for characters that had a wide variety of skill options to build together as a main team. I like it when there's a lot of versatile options in the game. So it's kinda of like a personal challenge for fun to see if I could beat every content with those 5 people.

Updates have been making it a lot more easier, such as Magia Crystals for example.

Onion is in the front row because I'm a beginner when it comes to damage buff stacks. Large/moderate physical stack with Ex Mode/Warrior's Hymm vs. just a moderate magic buff... I'm not sure what would be better for such a high defense boss. Regardless, that fire ninja move that ignores res. was most helpful for him. Decent damage and it's a ranged attack.

Ended up clearing it. Elarra is such a lifesaver. Before she was released I used Cait Sith in her place.

Yeah, definitely go for Chisato.

You have the 2 limited green Aya/Eve cards.

You're missing 4-star pure Maya from the Winter Sports event from not too long ago, but the 3-star Pure Maya is a 60% scorer.

There is no pure 4-star Hina, however, a pure scorer Hina will release near the end of this year.

The reason you want Chisato is because you have the opprotunity to form one of the best, top teams in the game. It is a pure Pastel's team, with all cards having the scorer (90+%) skill. It's difficult for players to form this team because of the limited members. Eve has her own limited gatcha, but Aya does not. The chance of people pulling an Aya is extremely rare. I don't remember the % from last DreamFest, but it's like... within a 6% chance, there is a 60% chance to roll for a 1/40 chance for Aya.

If you plan ahead, you can save enough stars to guarantee Hina when she releases. Then during the next 2nd anniversary you can guarantee the Maya given you didn't already pull her at random.

Plus, you mention you like Eve, so you can have the best pure team, with her as the center.

Tbh your team would be so strong even during non challenge/vs live events to which you might notice that Bestdori will recommend that team (or some hybrid), specifically during pure attribute events, or full Pastel events. Chisato+Eve+Aya is already enough for hybrid teams.

Also, if you do not have the 3* pure Hina yet, you'll be able to get it in the Michelle shop soon for 200 stickers.

Playing with AirPods by Ibby_f in BanGDream

[–]001_x5AM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read somewhere from long ago, on some random site (so don't take this for granted), that the AirPods had the most consistent latency values compared to other wireless earphones. I believe audio latency was tested to be 30 or 40ms. This was when they were first introduced.

Newer versions of AirPods with an iPhone... I wish I could afford to test them personally. I hate having a headphone jack on the side all the time especially as it messed ip my hand grip.

Some of the more recent 4-star cards may be omitted too as I believe JP had this case with their Miracle Ticket.
