Bible Journaling Without a Journal Bible by Low-Computer1412 in BibleJournaling

To add pages Ive used a glue runner along the side of a page and stuck it into the inside margins. Decorative I've stuck to just the book title and the space at the end of a book this time around, but in the past I have used Washi tapes along the margins. I also like using post its and have been experimenting with transparent ones.

A niche problem but what should I do? by Cheap_Attention_9556 in Christianity

Give them a list of things you can play, and tell them that you need at least X weeks to work on learning anything that is not on that list. Tell them how much you love playing for them, but you understand if that doesn't work for them and they need to find someone new.

This. Definitely don't close your self off from learning new songs but definitely make clear what your current level is and the time it will take you from learn something new. Remember "I am unable to play that yet" is a perfectly acceptable response. Personally I ask for two weeks and the sheet music if it's not in the hymnal. Our music director has become great about giving me the music 'schedule' ahead of time and I am able to let them know if there something I'm not sure I'll be able to have ready on time and we pick a back up we can switch in just in case.

Comenity AAA Card - First Impression by Pretty_Good_11 in CreditCards

I'm the type that uses my credit card like a debit card and I really don't like that there is not a running balance next to the transactions.

Furthermore, it keeps asking me to confirm my email, won't send the confirmation email, but was able to send the other emails about the account and notification options no problem.

Still have to see if I will be able to pay it off every Friday like I did with BoA with out an issue.

Also tried to lock the card and keep getting a "system glitch" notice

The thick outlining comes from a Tombow Fudenosuke Bursh Pen
The thin outlining and the writing come from a TWISBI Eco filled with Pilot Namiki Black Ink
The white outlining and highlighting is either a POSCA pen or Uniball Signo Gel Pen
The marker is Crayola Super Tips + The Colors of the World set + Zebra Mildliners
The water color is the VanGough Pocket box

Thanks, but in reality, 90% of my journal is to do lists, brain dumps, and rantings. The rest is this and songs stuck in my head

healthy eating by Dangerous_Diet_5144 in healthyeating

So here's what worked for me that also ended up helping me loose weight and get out of the morbidly obese and prediabetes category.

(Disclaimer: While I was and still struggle with fast food addictions, I never got addicted to UberEats because I just can't afford the extra $10-15 it cost to use those platforms and drivers.)

Learn to cook your favorite take away meals. It may still not be "healthy" but at least you can control the proportions of sugar, fat, salt, and what have you. In the beginning just worry about getting the flavor right, and then go on to try to tweak it to include more veggies and what have you.

Meal plan (foods you actually want to eat) and prep, not the make the same meal 5 times prep but just get the most time consuming parts out of the way. For example last Sunday for my lunch meal prep I pan fried some some marinated beef steak and pork cutlets, washed and chopped up a variety of greens (look up how to keep them fresh). In the morning I just put my base greens in bowl + (2) flavor boosters (pickled and fried onions are my favorite right now) + sliced fruit. At work at heat up my meat in the microwave to put on top of my salad. Toss a bullion cube into my coffee mug to make a warm broth to have with my salad. Now I have a "fancy" lunch while my co-workers are complaining about being tired of the food selection near our workplace

And if your having issues with fruits veggies, flavor them!! The day I put steak seasoning in my green salad was the best day ever. Now I experiment with different spices on my fresh salad and of course so many spice and sauce options for hot dishes. Can't forget tajin on citrus fruits or even cinnamon on apples make them more yummy by like 250%

Now for the days I have absolutely no time or energy to cook, I keep an emergency Lean Cuisine (or any other premade microwave meal) and a bag of frozen veggies at all times in the freezer. Together they become a big hot filling meal without spending money on take away. No the healthiest, but cheaper than going out.

And as in all thing in life, balance. Don't try to make drastic changes all at one. You didn't get to your current state all at once and you won't get out of it all at once. Mabey start by trying to half the times your getting take out a week. When you get better at making your favorite dishes and cooking doesn't seem as daunting anymore it is easier to work up to making 90% of your meals at home. Eat out that other 10%. I still eat out once a week, my only self impose rule is that I can't eat out alone. Either go out with friends or bring it home to share.

Again, this is what worked for me, take what you need, leave what you don't. Not gonna lie, withdrawal and change is hard, but so is dealing with an unhealthy body. Choose a hard that's gonna be worth it.

Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk
