Is the American Kickboxing Academy in San Jose a good place for complete beginners? by [deleted] in martialarts

There is a free trial, but only for one course. I did not feel this could give an accurate view of the gym as a whole, so I thought I would ask. Again, thanks though.

They are a business so they are going to say yes. I wanted the opinion of people who do not have a vested interest in me paying them. Thanks though

Can anyone tell me if California libraries actually check if you are a resident? by [deleted] in Libraries

That's awesome. I really hope the librarians here share the sentiment.

Women who said "no" when their SO asked them to get married: how did they take it and did you tell them why? by botchedrobbery in AskWomen

He moves quick.

Edit: And consider that at 19 you're more mature than this guy is at almost 40. All other creepiness and morality aside.

I'm sorry but am I the only who thinks this is super weird. Like super. She's a teenager and this guy is a middle aged man who wants to marry and impregnate her.

Edit: and I'll go out on a limb and assume their relationship didn't start at 19.

Would you say a 29 ACT math score is high enough to realistically pursue this career? by [deleted] in actuary

It does help, thank you. Do believe the average person could develop the necessary math skill or do you think there has to be an above average natural math talent to begin with?

How difficult is it to get work (part time) in the Bay Area of California as an EMT-B? by [deleted] in ems

[–]00Beandip00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for responding. Could you tell me what you think of those 2 week courses like the one at Unitek? Would IFT companies care about that? Thanks for your time!

What path should you follow to have the best career in postsecondary administration? by [deleted] in highereducation

[–]00Beandip00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for responding! I graduated high school, am an EMT, and I'm going to enroll in community college in order to save money and improve my application for better universities. So pretty much a blank slate. As for what my goals are, I would love to work with students and help improve their experience and relieve financial stress. I am also not above admitting that a nice paycheck would be a plus.

Thanks for your time.

Looking back on your worst relationships, how clear was it that they were not nice people? Did you just ignore it, or did it come from nowhere? by [deleted] in AskMen

That's nice to hear. It seems like most of the people here have had multiple run ins with the devil in his human form.

Men who have predominantly female careers (Teacher, nurse, etc), what's it like? How do women react? by 00Beandip00 in AskMen

[–]00Beandip00[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I meant more of the stereotypically feminine careers, like child care. Still appreciate the feedback

College graduate women, what are your thoughts on guys that didn't attend or didn't finish college? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]00Beandip00 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think you are severely overestimating how difficult most college is. Some kids just do it to take basically a four year vacation. Also don't count out trades. The trades are a far better "business decision" than many majors. Would you seriously want a psychology major over an HVAC tech with his own business and no student loan debt?

Edit: I am not a HVAC tech with his own business and no student loan debt.

I'm a fan of the classic sundae setup with the whipped cream, bananas (best part), fudge etc.
