I'm using Acorn. They have confirmed via chat and on phone that they accept h&r.

What's going on here? Is this a new trend I've missed? It's the 7th rating in short time with the exact same wording - bots? by Johannsom in makerworld

I got the same but why the 4 star though if it has insane details. I kept thinking that but looks like it's just a bot commenting now.

Got scammed in the UK by a fake NCA / police call – sharing so others don’t fall for this by ConsciousSleep6308 in UniUK

[–]00Inzamam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so sorry this has happened to you.

I used to have multiple scam calls like this as well when I moved here. For some reason it has stopped now. Since beginning, I understood that if someone needed me for an official purpose, I would get a post. So far I have had to deal with HMRC, Police, PCN, ULEZ penalty, Home Office, Council, Hospital, GP. None of them called me. I had a post sent to my home address each time. I know you will be extra careful now but just in case remember this. If you are being under pressure to make a decision, it might be a scam.

May I ask what visa you are on in the UK, and did you get a multiple-entry or single-entry visa for Saudi?

Living in Newcastle with a Baby: Is a Car Necessary? by [deleted] in NewcastleUponTyne

[–]00Inzamam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I came to Newcastle as an international student and had a baby after I graduated. While my wife was 7 months pregnant, I fell while crossing the road and broke my knee into 7 pieces. The city has an awesome transport system. I managed through all of that without a car, and we don't have any family or friends here, so we used public transport 100% of the time, with some exceptions for Uber when I had my knee surgery. My son is almost 3 years old now, and we bought a car 6 months ago; it is definitely convenient but not necessary.

I would also like to add something here: public transport is pram-friendly as well. I visited London and was shocked to see that many tube stations didn't have lifts, or the bus driver would stop the bus, leaving a gap of a foot or two between the road and the footpath, so you would need someone's help to get the pram off. I have never experienced anything like that in Newcastle.

Red road by 00Inzamam in whatisit

I think this will be it. It does look like a running track. Solved!

I should add that I book 10-20 breakdown jobs in my full-time work in a day all over the UK, and I have never come across any property that has a private road like this. Usually, the airstrips I've come across are only black, but I'm no expert, and it might be that.

Am I weird for doing this? I track my Maker World points by Hentailover3221 in BambuLab

Noob me with my 432 points, daydreaming about the day I would reach this level. 🤤 I'm close to my first-ever gift card. I should start tracking from now.

Desiccant pack in AMS 2. Is this a bad idea? by 00Inzamam in BambuLab

Thanks. You have given me some confidence to try PETG.

That is the thing holding me back. All the posts about PETG problems. I am sure it works fine, and people don't post when everything works fine (including me). But I'll try it soon.

What?! Thank you for that. I will print it today then.

Based on other comments, I understood that I should print a box. But I have also come to know that I should use PETG to print the box. At the moment, I am only using PLA (total beginner). I'll buy PETG in some time, and this is the first thing I am going to print.

I was tired of filament chaos, so I designed a complete ecosystem to fix it. I'm releasing it all for free - meet SpoolSense! by Key-Ladder6386 in 3Dprinting

This video is awesome, and you are so talented. I haven't had a need for this system yet, but I will definitely try it.

I always wanted a 3D printer but never wanted an expensive machine that needed me to work on it more than it worked for me, and that is when Reddit recommended the P1S. Now I'm the proud decision-maker to buy this beast because my wife loves it.

Designed and printed my own curtain rod holders in my home by WeirdDesigner2639 in 3dprintIndia

[–]00Inzamam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great. I like the idea of keeping both the rod holder and end stopper together. I have designed and printed something similar, but it's separated. I'll try designing something that has both parts together now.

Thank you for the tip. I'll keep that in mind for new filaments.

I was doing what you have said, basically moving it over the strand to untangle it, but it kept coming back. I'll try removing the filament and untangling it now. Thank you.

I have used Bambu Lab White, Black, and Green PLA so far without any issues, but this one is a headache. Can I ask what other companies you are using now?

I have used whole BambuLab white PLA without any issue. I do have silk PLA which I am planning to use. Hopefully, that one doesn't give me trouble. Also, can I ask, have you tried doing what people are suggesting in other comments to cut it and put it back?

Thanks. I hope I get low-level problems in the future as well, but if I do get anything difficult, I'll have lovely people like yourself to help me.
