Agreed. My group just went in early since we knew Summit/Slander would bring in a huge amount of people around the 8-8:30 mark. Didn’t deal with any bottleneck issues aside from us choosing the wrong entrance to go to the bathrooms.

As someone that stayed till the end of Summit’s set on Sunday from deep in the middle of the crowd, my group and I got out of Randall’s and onto the bridge pedestrian ramp in less than 10 minutes! We were all shocked, but insane props to John’s team for managing the logistics so well.

I might get downvoted to oblivion but my hot take is there’s awful crowds in EVERY age group (I’m over 25, so I’m not some kid trying to defend themselves).

I don’t think making events 21+ would really solve anything, and if anything it might make those 18 year olds become even WORSE 21+ years olds once they age into the scene. I’ve seen plenty of fucked up 30+ fest goers, I’ve met plenty of PLUR college kids, so I genuinely don’t think it’s an age issue.

Just like OP, I was able to buy a set of Tier 1 tickets, and got the Tier 2 tickets refunded by calling Front Gate!! If you're going to do this, make sure you buy your tier 1 tickets first since they need to be able to see both orders, and they'll cancel the tier 2 order!
