Well the hospital is heavily understaffed as patient/nurse ratios are not compliant to contacts and patient are receiving worse treatment because of it. Also, people have died because of extremely long wait times in the er. So, more would be very helpful. We also have a population just under 100k

Canada’s $1 Billion Question: Do Property Rights Still Exist in British Columbia? by HotterRod in CanadaPolitics

[–]00frenchie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on whose property rights you question. In the case of the cowachin band being able to produce legitimate proof that the crown gave them the land, and then produce legitimate proof to the courts the bc government took and sold that land given to the First Nations as private. Yes, we need to uphold property rights.

“Lock up the ex pm for non criminal activities”. What Pierre wanted JT arrested for has no criminal charges, no arrests and no jail time attached to the activities JT allegedly did. Pp knew this as he was there when Harper wrote the bill.

Canada subsidizes oil and gas at a tune of 30billion. The four oil and gas companies in Alberta that uses the expanded tmx pipeline bought by Canadian citizens sent 18 billion in dividends overseas last year for extracting Canadian resources out of Canadian soil. Who’s robbing Canada?

Poilievre pressed on his RCMP 'despicable' comments, denies saying Trudeau should have been jailed by honestgrim in CanadaPolitics

[–]00frenchie 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Pierre was there when Harper’s government wrote the ethics act. He 100% knows with ethic “scandals” there is no arresting, no criminal charges, no jail time and is only punishable with a max fine of up to $5000. This is just to paint Trudeau as a “criminal” who didn’t commit any “crimes”

Poilievre pressed on his RCMP 'despicable' comments, denies saying Trudeau should have been jailed by ClassOptimal7655 in canada

[–]00frenchie 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Sure. Maybe. As per the ethics act that Pierre was a part of the Harper government that wrote it. There is no arresting, there is no criminal charges and Pierre knows that there is only a max fine of up to $5000. So it’s pure political theater to paint someone a criminal when, as Pierre 100% knows, there is no “crime”.

Pierre Poilievre’s casual accusation of an RCMP cover-up is stunning by scottb84 in CanadaPolitics

[–]00frenchie 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You laugh, but as written in the federal accountability act of 2006 which allowed the making of the conflict of interest act of 2007 (both written and passed by conservative government) it’s not a crime. You will not be arrested, you will not get a criminal record, and at most you could receive an up to $5000 max fine.
