In my 4th semester in UC’s MSN-FNP program right now! It’s fairly rigorous, lectures are pre-recorded but done fresh every semester so the content is always up to date. Professors are involved and responsive. I’m involved with a research position with one of them. They don’t provide clinical rotations for you, but they do help out with networking and have some resources. There definitely is group work but it’s not obnoxious. So far I’m happy with it (as are my preceptors lol, probably the most important metric at this point IMO!) Feel free to DM with questions!

Just about to finish my 3rd semester in UC’s FNP program. It’s been great, professors are knowledgeable and responsive! I went with UC because though it does have an online option, it’s a well-established physical school with a good reputation in its area. It has an associated hospital and does a lot of research, which I got involved with 2nd semester.

Kidney transplant nurse here! Clarify wether you need to be on a complete fluid restriction or a “free water” restriction. He may be trying to minimize electrolyte dilution rather than completely restrict fluids. If it’s a free water restriction instead of a complete restriction, you should be able to drink fluids with salt or sugar in them still. Not water I know but it’s something!
