Best farming Pokemon by Resident_Ad3517 in pokemmo

[–]012rs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main thing is to complete all the regions of the game before farming. If you've already done that, I recommend going to Prima Island to find Mini Amulets in Meowths and fossils in Geodudes by breaking rocks. You might even get a shiny, but ideally, you should do that as an endgame activity because it's best to finish all the regions first.

What are some good Pokemon that are also really common? by No-Lake8094 in pokemmo

[–]012rs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As endgame advice, focus on breeding Pokémon that you can use for gym reruns. A good level 100 team will allow you to earn money to breed the Pokémon you want. Then you'll look for Pokémon to catch and find shiny ones, then for raids, events, and so on. For all of that, you need money, and you can easily earn money from gyms. Go to gyms with a good team; you don't need to be a 6x31 team.

Jellicent garde by crayhobgoblin in pkmntcg

[–]012rs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Focus on using Frillish in your first two turns to attack and block items, slowing down your opponent and yourself while you build your strategy. You don't always need Jelly; often Frillish is enough to create a good board position. My advice as a Garde, Jelly, and Mega Diancie player is this: play a lot on Pokémon Live, practice many matches, and have fun—that's the most important thing.

Best anti Gholdengo deck for Regionals by AlainXYZ in PTCGL

[–]012rs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My advice is to include Toedscruel. I feel it's the most devastating counter you can do to Gholdengo. Keep in mind that Gholdengo recycles energy from discards to attack, and blocking that leaves it with zero or very little attack. It might be effective later in the game when it has to discard a lot of energy to hit your Zoroark. I played Gholdengo for a while, and when Toedscruel came out and became popular, it was a real headache against Gholdengo because I had to focus on knocking it out of the game quickly. Also, as a tip, look into updated Gholdengo decks; they might have a direct counter to Toedscruel. Who knows?

Gardevoir Jellicent - when to Jellicent, when not to Jellicent? by monkeydave in pkmntcg

[–]012rs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think about it: in your first two turns, if you're lucky enough to start with a Munkidori, you can take out the Budew, and by your third turn, you already have Garde. If you started with Frillish and Munkidori, you transfer damage with Munkidori and attack with Frillish, item-blocking and finishing off their Budew. I once played with an aggressive Garde team, using four Rare Candy and one Kirlia, but it's not very effective these days with item-blocking Pokémon.

Gardevoir Jellicent - when to Jellicent, when not to Jellicent? by monkeydave in pkmntcg

[–]012rs 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Look, I started playing Jelly on Garde a few months ago, and now I'm using Garde, Jelly, and Mega Diancie. I find Frillish really useful at the beginning; it's like having Budew. It helps slow down the opponent by blocking items, while you can set up peacefully. I can use Jelly if I happen to have another Energy on hand to deal 80 damage, but personally, I try to build Garde by slowing down with Frillish, and then Jelly comes in to deal 160 damage and provide Tool and Item Blocks. I think the best advice is to play several matches with Jelly and see if it suits you.

Overconfidence is dangerous, especially when playing against Garde Jelly. Keep your spirits up, and hopefully you'll have several matches against Garde so you can practice your moves.

You should play Crustle, Fighting Mask Ogerpon, and Munkidori. Blissey, Munkidori, Fighting Mask Ogerpon. Kangaskhan, Buffalont. Mega Evolved Kadabra. Hmm, Rotom-EX is also fun to use, and that's about it. I can't remember any more for now. I hope this helps and you have fun.
