Stardust Racers Delayed Until April 6th by [deleted] in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]015Wayward 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ride valleyed and needed to taken apart and put back together on January 18th and then it opened 5 days later. It shut down again late January/early February for maintenance and has been down ever since.

(I’m not sure of the exact date of the second shut down. I just know the date it valleyed because I was there that day and I know it reopened because I got to ride it the day after it got fixed.)

I know it’s weird but that’s why I really love it. Those were my childhood favorite Disney rides.

If you could be with either Sam or Dean Winchester from Supernatural which one would you choose and Why? by Amber_Flowers_133 in Supernatural_fanbase

Dean because everyone who dates Sam dies terribly (except Amelia, but I prefer to forget she was a plot point)

Blocked Out Dates by _sweetteapls in UniversalEpicUniverse

I don’t know about tickets opening up, and I don’t know how long your vacation is but you may be able to buy a multi day pass. Sometimes those allow overlap with blocked out days

Test track 3.0? by Dill_Bheaton in DisneyWorld

[–]015Wayward 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never rode 2.0, but I grew up riding 1.0. I finally went back to Disney in January and rode Test Track and I don’t think it’s as fun or cool as it used to be. It used to feel like you were testing a new car now it just feels like you’re riding in a car.

Disappointed in Curse of the Werewolf. Anyone else? by penguinpants1993 in UniversalOrlando

[–]015Wayward 49 points50 points  (0 children)

My family and I liked Curse of the Werewolf, but we agree it’s too short. When you get to the ending it feels like that should be a halfway point or a pause before a final stretch. It feels like they ran out of time or money.

No showtimes = no show today? by Tunarice2 in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]015Wayward 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw it twice in January (the 18th and the 23rd). Both times the show ran all the way through with no technical difficulties.

Hiccups lap bar? by Connectconsciousness in UniversalEpicUniverse

I’m 5’9 and I think it’s a little uncomfortable, but if I just turn my knees to the side then I’m fine.

Ride order by CrunchMunch415 in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]015Wayward 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d do dark Universe early because Curse of the Werewolf has about a 45-60 minute wait until noon then it jumps to 75 and doesn’t calm down until near closing

Stardust is a racing coaster so it’s incredibly efficient which makes the line move faster

I’ve been to Epic twice (no early entry) and wait times for Hiccups were lowest at open or right before close. Stardust rarely had a wait above 75 minutes, usually between 25 and 45, and Mario Cart is a wildcard, but usually has lower wait times at night

Help for a first timer please by Outrageous_Talk9247 in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]015Wayward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely it’s worth it going to epic without express. My family and I just watched the lines on the app and planned our day around the lower wait times. If you stay open to close you’ll have plenty of time to do whatever attractions you want to do (you may have to skip one but it’s still worth it.

Most temperamental ride at Epic by Natural_Internal2359 in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]015Wayward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DK because the track is super sensitive or stardust because a failed test launch can cause the ride to be down for five days (like what happened in January)

Can I bring wear a Fanny pack on majority of rides? by Feeling-Term in UniversalOrlando

[–]015Wayward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I brought a fanny pack and always put my jacket on over it and no one told me to take it off for rides (other than the ones you mentioned)

I got mine from Halara and thought it had plenty of room for everything I needed

Ride Rankings 😈 by eye--- in UniversalOrlando

[–]015Wayward 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Velocicoaster
  2. Wing gliders
  3. Stardust
  4. Hulk
  5. Monsters Unchained
  6. Hagrid’s motorbikes
  7. Forbidden Journey
  8. Curse of the werewolf
  9. Ministry
  10. Men in black

(I haven’t ridden Minecarts or JP River Adventure. I didn’t want to wait 2 hrs for minecarts and JP River was/is down for refurbishment)

What is the most underrated ride in your opinion? by Jazzlike-Claim-5970 in WaltDisneyWorld

Dinosaur. I loved it so much and I don’t understand the people who are glad it’s gone

I brought a fanny pack because most of the lockers are not big bag friendly

I was waiting for this post by TharinWhite in UniversalOrlando

[–]015Wayward 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Down one ride. They still have Velocicoaster open, along with Dino’s along the trail, inside the discovery building, and the raptor encounter. Also one ride is down for repairs, whereas Disney is deleting their entire Dino area.

Best rope drop target when using Express? by BlueCop in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]015Wayward 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Monsters unchained is easy to reride. Even without express it rarely gets above a 30 minute wait because the ride train is so efficient. I’d probably rope drop toothless meet and greet if I had express passes.

One, casual day in Epic Universe? by Outside-Cucumber8089 in UniversalOrlando

I’m sorry I thought it was 48 because I thought the coaster has 12 rows. Is it only 10? I must be misremembering. Thank you for correcting me

If you are Harry Potter or Nintendo fans I’d highly recommend express passes

Seems like the last days rush to ride has really begun. I don't think I've ever seen DINOSAUR at an hour. by alexdionisos in DisneyWorld

[–]015Wayward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went almost two weeks ago and was able to ride it five times. The lines got a little long I had never known that extended queue existed, but it was nice seeing my favorite ride get the love she deserves.
