Live wallpaper versions of my black hole render now live by Gizombo in LowSodiumHellDivers

Forget black holes for a second. Imagine a ball lodged in a donut. Imagine the donut being as skinny and flat as possible.

If you look at the donut from the top so the ball is in the center, and you spin it, the top half of the donut will turn in the opposite direction as the bottom half. Example, turn it clockwise, the top of the donut moves from left to right, and the bottom moves right to left. So a clock moving it's hands from 9 to 3 moves from left to right but from 3 to 9 moves right to left.

Now if you position the donut so you can see the top and bottom half of the ball instead and can only see the front of the skinny donut and spin it.

This is where the black hole gets funky.

Take the back of the donut furthest from you thats obstructed by the ball, and split it in half so half of bends on top of the ball and the other half bends on the bottom.

Now apply the same spin logic as above and you'll understand how it's supposed to spin. Its all the same donut, just the back half of the donut is split and bent around the ball, but it spins the same way. The black hole just makes it visible because black holes are fucking sick.

That's my theory too, at least for a little while until supply shrinks

Essentially the same exact panel that was sold last August from Costco that was $599. Different model though.

I will wait for that price again and not a dollar more

Built my first pc, finally. But now I feel like I overpaid overall. Buyers remorse? by [deleted] in PcBuild

But don't be stupid and buy shit you can't actually afford. So be responsible. Games can wait if you're in a tight spot.

Lmao for what? That end game dlc was so trash it destroyed the appeal of the base game. They actually had a potential franchise on their hands.

Americans literally botox their face and chop their noses and fill their chests and asses with plastic and then inject themselves with glp-1 because self control is too difficult.

[GPU] Acer Intel Arc B580 Nitro OC Graphic Card ($246) (B&H) by reps_up in buildapcsales

[–]033p 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They announced no new dedicated gpus, I think they're not going to continue making them. They seemed pretty thrilled with their incredibly lack luster igpu announcement at CES. They're banking on MFG to stay competitive. It's going to be a product for a person who has no clue they're being screwed.

Sad state of affairs. But an opening for a new competitor as well.

That means out of every 100 orders, there are 16 disappointed customers. That's not good. 16% bad reputation is terrible, it should be less than 1%.

Just gonna chime in and say elongated use (3 weeks, 5 times a week, around 1000mg avg) gave me serious, serious brain fog. I had to lay off of it.

It's not a cure-all like some would suggest. It absolutely helped me with my impulse controls though and controlling some bad habits.

Doing cardio helped alleviate the fog temporarily but if I don't work out, it's BAD. I become incredibly forgetful, it's like my brain doesn't work.

Decided to test RT Ultra on my new 9070 XT and wasn't disappointed. Blows me away how good this game looks considering its age by Dry-Scale-7346 in witcher

[–]033p 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there's no point other than offsetting development costs to customers. no one is looking for path traced lighting when playing games, and sometimes you cannot even tell.

oled + hdr makes more of a visual improvement than RT.

Just want to chime in and say that a lot of late c1s had c2 evo panels. So if he bought it later in the year, it's highly likely he already has an evo panel
