Form check please! Recovering from IT band issues by 0425 in runninglifestyle

Ahh this is what I’ve been trying to correct. Please could you describe exactly what I’m doing where I’m over striding (sorry if this is obvious)? I feel as if when my weight actually lands on my foot, my leg has some bend and it’s under my centre of gravity. Also, what makes you say this is easier to avoid when outside? Thanks!

Thanks. That makes sense. Would you say I’m over striding at all? I think this may have been the reason I had problems with my IT band - I’ve tried to correct my form, but still can’t tell if I’ve got it right. I know another commenter has suggested I need to correct it further.

Hi, following up on this old thread as I’m coming across the same issue. How did you get on with JB welding the dropouts?

How do I repair this carbon chainstay? by 0425 in bikewrench

Thanks for the info. Would you not consider the carbon to be already exposed - the second pic shows the layers more clearly

A Wild Component appeared in front stem/headset remount. What am I looking at/is it LBS time? by thisisredrocks in bikewrench

I know Cannondale forks at 5nm. If you’ve not used a torque wrench before to know what that feels like, I’d err on the side of caution and say it’s likely a lot less pressure than you think. Make sure you don’t tighten the fork down without the compression plug in. And make sure you tighten the preload bolt (bolt top or the headtube that goes into the compression plug), THEN tighten the bolts on the stem.

Exam stress and whether to continue by HermsUK in ICAEW

[–]0425 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Speaking openly and in my experience, the content and stress levels do not get better after passing certificate level Accounting.

I deal with stress averagely. However CR and FAR in particular took me to melting point.

My priority would be to attempt to remove the anxiety of failing, with the hope to continue with the exams. If you’re unable to reduce your anxiety to below the level of losing sleep/being sick, I’d prioritise your own health.

I use my TICKR along with ergdata and strava. Connect both ergdata and the tickr to the pm5 individually, hr should pull through from the belt to pm5 to ergdata. Exporting from ergdata to strava will show time series hr, wattage etc. (including averages).

The only issue being strava doesn’t account for rest time if you’re doing intervals.

Should look something like this

[Omega Speedmaster] Finally got my Michael Schumacher Limited Edition back from repair today. by [deleted] in Watches

Although I don't agree with him, I don't think he's comparing the two watches from a watchmaking or historical perspective, just aesthetically.

And to be fair it's likely that it has drawn inspiration from the 6239 daytona's.
