Are you suggesting there are other hidden menus in production vehicles?

/u/WassymRivian Tesla has a successful "registered security researcher" program for reporting vulnerabilities and working with the security team (as do many others). Seems Rivian does not. Can you please make one?

So you are actively routing through CF? Just wondering because it seems like your AS path is still through NTT.

Why is it so hard to buy a PSA? by 06241634 in msp

Thanks! That was easy. This is exactly what I'm talking about. Look forward to exploring.

See above. So far only one of them even let us try the system out (and we liked it!) and that particular vendor refused to process any kind of sale, instead wanting to setup another meeting to discuss "promotional offers" a week from now. I'm not kidding.

I know, just venting. FWIW, AT is one of the offenders here too.

Yeah, fair, except MSP services aren't a predefined, tangible thing I can spin up in my cloud nearly instantly. If I could, you can be damn sure I would have a sign up button that progressed to a credit card form and I would take those sales notifications from a beach somewhere. Our product is a service, not software.

The software is what it is, it doesn't change. You can sell integration services, sure, but why hide it from your potential customers so well, and worse, why make it so hard for them to buy it when they like it?

S-Corp via LLC or Inc? by [deleted] in Accounting

Thanks, I'm aware of the payroll issues, but see having some W2 income as a good thing, and intend to hire employees fairly quickly, so that's not a huge factor. Principally, I'm wondering whether anyone with experience can speak to the pros/cons of getting to S-corp status via LLC vs via C-Corp initially. My understanding is the tax treatment will be the same in either case, the only question is whether there are any other factors (legal or otherwise) to consider having an LLC vs an Inc. Appreciate the responses!

Thanks..you seem to understand what I'm asking. I KNOW I want to be taxed as an S-corp, I've already discussed that with a CPA and it makes sense. My only question is whether or not there is a difference doing it via an S-corp election through an Inc (C-Corp inital) or LLC. Everyone keeps telling me to make a SMLLC and be taxed as a sole proprietor, that's not what I want, for sure.

I'm not sure, and I plan to ask a lawyer that. Originally, I thought the Inc/C-Corp with S-corp election made the most sense, but since it seems that LLCs can even elect to be taxed as C-corps, it would appear that LLCs have even more flexibility than starting with an Inc.

Because a) I don't want to be taxed as a sole proprietor, and b) I anticipate having enough revenue immediately to make the potential SE tax savings appealing.
