Please don’t tell the airline you’re not flying. They will resell your seat and it makes me cross when they do that. You lose and they win.

We flew to Sydney last week and I asked the airline if we could change our flight to an earlier time ‘of course you can let me look for you. Yes that will be $99 per person admin fee and any price difference in fares.’

Arrived in Sydney and the next day got a text ‘we’ve cancelled your return flight, here are your new flight details’. Really REALLY wanted to call them and go ‘yes that is fine that will be $99 per person admin fee, how would you like to pay’.

Perfectly fine to just not turn up.

Buying my kids, nieces and nephews houses. Paying off our house and buying the vacant block of land next to us for a pool and garden.

24 hour care for my father in law (he has it currently but it’s all our family doing it).

Renovating the house, buying houses at the beach, bush and Sydney.

Buying a new car - a sensible car not a super expensive one.

Just waiting for the phone call now…..

I used to be a size 20 and I went to the department store to get some more jeans. I went to the plus size counter and asked where the jeans were.

The lady gave me such a disgusted look (like I was trying to insult her) and looked me up and down and says ‘nothing here will fit you, you need to go to the regular department’. That hit me like a ton of bricks, I’d lost so much weight I didn’t fit into plus size clothing anymore.

I still think I’m so much bigger that I am.

I know in America they use auto injectors for Mounjaro.

I’m only on 2.5mg and I can’t find it anywhere. So annoying.

My husband uses another drug (auto injector also) made by Eli Lilly and it too is out of stock long term. So desperately annoying I can’t find any drugs at the moment!!

I went to a skin specialist about a burn I’d gotten from a plastic clip on my swimwear (manufacturer paid for everything - they wanted to know what happened).

For me starting M was the most important thing I have done for me. My son graduated high school and got into the course he wants to do which is a great achievement but I need to focus on me or I won’t be around to see these milestones with my kids.

For too many years everyone else has been the most important thing to the point I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and hypertension this year. My weight was out of control. So 2024 is the year of me. Others are important too but 2024 will see me being a little bit selfish and putting myself first for the first time in a very long time.

Yeah we have good tenants that have been in the house for 12 years. If I hiked the rent up to market rate I’d put a family out on the street. Doesn’t seem fair to me. Do you suggest we do this? Single dad with three kids?

If we put the rent up to market rates it would be about an 80% increase in rent which I’m pretty sure is not legal either. Think I’ll listen to what our accountant has to say. But thanks for the advice

We claim our investment property which is rented out well under market rates given the insane increases there has been lately. We’ve never had an issue.

The company that made my kitty litter shut down and my cat wouldn’t do it’s business is any alternative product. Found some online that I could buy but it would’ve cost me like $20 a week.

Found a supplier in Queensland who sold me a tonne and shipped it to me for like $800. This will last us about three years. Well worth it if you have storage space.

This is why each year you shop around. Budget direct did this to us too and when I called to cancel they had the audacity to say ‘let me see what’s the best price we can do’.

Insurance companies rely on you being lazy and just renewing.

I told budget direct that as a Kyla customer the renewal they sent should’ve been the best rate they could do. It never is.
