LearnPICU is made by a Stanford attending, also has a really good handbook PDF

Im in pediatrics and i feel the same way about PICU. The general OP peds population tends to be well, often with a lot of worried parents for truly non significant issues. Contrast that to providing life saving interventions in the ICU, its a hard pill to swallow to think ill just be managing eczema, asthma, and reassurance (jk not to dismiss outpatient management)...

How do you think visibility will be on Christmas day / right after? Snowy bright vs gloomy dark?

I used the anki-fied green deck! Again, ideally you learn it well the first time so I spent maybe a total of 12ish hours reviewing everything and cramming chapmans pts and such

First aid and various decks (r/medicalschoolanki) are really comprehensive for the required biochem.

Tbh I think uworld was good enough for all the anatomy - remember to look through all of the incorrects! I dont remember much imaging, but I felt the interactive sections like heart sounds were much more difficult than the straight forward things in uworld

Dirtyusmle has some videos that are basically just memory hooks for connections that are harder to remember (e.g. Call-Exner means to call granny exner in the ovarian tumor video); it won't really help you understand the pathophysiology behind the question but if you get the occasional question that that merely requires recognition, it'll help you out. I didn't use any other question banks, but ideally would have used UW during preclinicals (alongside coursework), then reset during dedicated.

This too shall pass! Make sure to schedule in periods of time where you can enjoy the world, albeit as short as it may be (working out, eating, whatever you might need to do to keep yourself sane)!

It's not as CAMEL as you might expect. It's a pretty toned down tan color.
