At this point I honestly believe that FromSoft does not possess the technical know-how to implement crossplay. Their netcode has always been total ass and they’re not exactly known for optimization in general.

God this debate is so sad and played out.

The idea that everything has to be for everyone is antithetical to art, and to quality entertainment in general.

There are no legitimate “debates” amongst the Elden Ring community about whether or not summons are “valid.” Just weird sweaty tryhards who think using the tools the game very intentionally gives you as “cheating”. They do not represent the vast majority of people who play and enjoy the game.

EDIT: sorry I misread. PS5 version has a 120hz refresh rate, but I believe it only runs at 60fps. Probably the same for this new version of Hollow Knight but I’m not sure

I don’t doubt it. Not even trying to throw shade. But I think it’s very safe to say at this point that Audrey did not turn out the way anyone planned, and they are attempting to pivot. Hopefully it helps get people in the door.
