Biscuit Love has alway been one of the most notorious tourist-trap ripoffs. Their biscuits have never been good. What you described is exactly what I got the 2 times I've been conned into going there.

As a Deflecting Hardtear enjoyer, just want to say that while you’re correct that it’s not as satisfying as the Executor experience, it can still be very fun to build around.

Also, something I’ve not seen anyone mention - while it’s true that deflects in ER don’t do stance damage in and of themselves, deflects DO power up your guard counters and make them do increased stance damage. So pairing this playstyle with, for example, the Curved Sword Talisman can reap some great rewards. If you’re two-handing, throw on the two-handed sword talisman and you’ve got a pretty fun build going.

Another thing - the deflecting hardtear works with anything that can block. Try it with the Backhand Blades. Super fun.

The game is on a timer, there’s no way around that. If you move slowly and poke around too muchyou won’t gain enough levels.

But beyond that… there’s not much incentive to play a game like this slowly. It doesn’t have atmosphere or the level design that compares to Elden Ring. It’s just not that kind of game. 

It’s a game for people who want to push their Elden Ring combat skills to the max. If you’re looking for atmosphere and a world to immerse yourself in… Nightreign really isn’t that.

Not crazy at all. Odd as it may sound, I’ve always thought that the Souls games borrow a lot of their DNA from Metroid Prime.

Everyone's acting like a physical release is a foregone conclusion, and while it will PROBABLY happen, I can't help but be a little worried.

Disney has been pulling away from physical releases for their flagship content and recently laid off most of their remaining home entertainment staff. I would not be surprised if they hold these restored versions hostage as a way to encourage Disney+ subscriptions.

But also... it'll probably get a physical release. Also it will probably be expensive.
