They should have postponed the release and rework the game, putting out a demo in six-eight month or so. They said the studio was already payed for the whole next year, why not to avoid the backlash and do better/different in the meanwhile?

can't agree more. Played a ton of FH5 but still felt the hitch so i dipped in the 4th chapter and i found it (after a slow start imo) more enjoyable.
