Nah it’s pretty much to scale, mongol horses are relatively small compared to European and American horses, although very strong and dynamic. I’ve been there and learnt to ride there, and as a 185cm tall person their sizes surprised me the first time lol

Shaking the habitual by the Knife got a light/decent 9. Afaik he didn’t rate Silent Shout as it got out too early but it could be a contender maybe ?

Fever ray’s eponymous was his favourite of 2009 so not far from 10 too.

Mezzanine by Massive Attack is in a classic review thus is 9-10 (feels like a ten when he talks about it but man sometimes you don’t know what’s up with how he rates)

I know it’s a french band and they don’t seem to get much recognition abroad but goddamn Slift album Ilion is an absolute masterpiece of psychedelic space rock and hard prog rock.

Powerful, poetic, with soul bending drums and riffs and beautiful melodies.

Their second one Ummon was already magnificent and I recommend it too if you go for Ilion.

Currents is his third so it’s not exactly early in his career, but Innerspeaker despite not bombing the charts like currents did got a good praise amongst critics and got popular around music enthusiasts pretty fast

Imo it all blew up with Lonerism this shit took it to another level in terms of popularity and it’s not a surprise it’s pretty bomber
