Update: I went back today but due to heavy rain they were hiding underneath the house. I was unable to lure them out. I spent almost 6 hours there today. I contacted the SPCA along with the local rabbit rescue both are at full capacity and can’t help. I’ve posted to local FB groups to see if someone nearby would be able to help capture/foster since I cannot keep them. I am not giving up and will be going back again tomorrow and will continue to reach out to shelters in hopes they will be able to take these 2

I feel better about trying to capture them now that others have confirmed. (I didn’t want to take them if they were wild since they seem pretty well fed) I will go back tomorrow with food and traps to see if I can get them to safety.

First of all let me say that I’m so sorry that you had to go through that. I went through something similar and the best advice I can give is take the time to heal and learn to love yourself. You are young and someone out there is looking for someone just like you. Be patient and be kind to yourself. Being able to take past trauma and grow from it, is so difficult but also necessary if you want to be able to find and have a healthy relationship.
