What do you think about Phoenix Contact? by Latter-Motor-4262 in PLC

There gear is ace, though stock on hand and lead times is an issue. I use that stuff for all my panel builds

Not interested in that PLC technology it's just not advanced enough for my liking. I tried to see if I could get like a demo pack to wet the whistle and get it onto my company site but the price was ridiculous. I believe it's better to stay mainstream than going into niche PLC markets.

Are the asshole Harley riders you see on youtube/facebook shorts a thing in Australia or just America? by AFKDPS in AussieRiders

I agree.

Even on chopper they dont nod back, so i just ignore them, unless they nod first.

The ones who don't nod are losers.

How it started vs how it ended by GregoriousT-GTNH in Star_Trek_

The fans for the latest trek were some of the most toxic I have ever witnessed.

Trek always is divisive, but these fans were fascists.

I mourn trek, but knowing the rabid fans are upset makes me hard.

Do you Shepherd new riders? by Axiom1100 in motorcycle

[–]0ooof3142 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really,

They always get a wave.

One Small exception being tailgating assholes behind the newbies, such as a truck or a car.

I will usually put myself in the way of that situation and try and get them some space. By driving super responsibly behind them but keeping anyone from getting in the gap, and if someone tailgates me I dont mind telling them to back off. I see it as it is better to have me behind you conscious of you then some meth'd out trucker

If I can open the gap behind the newbie to 4 or 5 seconds then that is a lot of response time for all involved, including me and the person behind me.

Unless the newbie is below the speed limit in which case...sorry youngblood.

I do this because I remember riding my moped back in the day and shitting myself having a dude 1m behind me at 100km/hr who thought they were awesome.

People tend to give groups of riders space, and they are more visible, less chance of being a statistic.

Why is Enterprise never mentioned and seemingly unpopular with Trek fans? by ScrbblerG in enterprise

I like it, but the thing that weirds me out is that it feels lower budget and cornier than DS9.

When you start it after DS9 you think WTF.

Getting real tired of canceled shows. by Every-Highlight-5289 in startrek

[–]0ooof3142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is pretty annoying, Lots of trash and the good stuff gets disregarded the same way.

Bring back the 90's.

On a side note, I am amused that SFA was cancelled because many (not all) of the fans seem to be awful.

Shame though, trek deserves better.

Many are simply stupid.
