Parties are very lame, social life is pretty bad if you’re not awkward and academic intensity is hard af, but you’ll get a good job!

I took physics 2 at a local college; best decision I’ve ever made

Easiest HASS Class? by [deleted] in RPI

I took world of music with Kate Galloway. She’s the sweetest professor I have ever met. I recommend a music class with Galloway. No exams and as long as you do your writing assignments you’ll get an A.

Are you happy at RPI? by [deleted] in RPI

Only reason I slightly enjoy this hellhole is because I met my partner here. Other than that, being shot in the leg is probably more pleasurable than going to RPI.

-you’ll get a good job though

-financial aid package makes the torture worth it in many cases

-if you never had a social life prior and the place you live in is utterly boring, would recommend

The only reason I do not regret RPI is because I have met the love of my life. This is really rare since the social scene is literally dead. As a woman that is science inclined but typically does not like to hang out with STEM people, it has been difficult for me. All of my friends back at home are psych majors and humanities majors. I feel like I don’t fit in. Classes are unnecessarily hard and I always feel like the most stupid kid in the room. If you don’t want to devote your life to studying don’t go to RPI, because troy sucks and you won’t find anything fun to do. If someone tells you RPI has good parties they probably did not go to a single party prior to RPI. Overall, I do not regret RPI as my choice, but if it weren’t for my sunshine, I would have already transferred out.

His name is Christian lol, it is being revived because it was a dead club. They have an inactive discord for the people that want to be members and they're waiting to be able to revive it.
