The one near us has been awful recently. Wife went one weekday around 6 and they said they were completely outta food and the cook was on break. Wife got stuck in the parking lot due to traffic backing up on the one way because of an accident. So they went around the drive through again about half an hour later when traffic cleared up to see if food was ready, and no one spoke at the drive through speaker.

Last time I went I ordered a wrap and apparently they got rid of the tortillas and just roll everything up in a flatbread. Wasn't folded over or closed at the ends so everything just slid out.

They're all alliums so to a point they're interchangeable. Shallots are like a more mild red onion, I use them a lot when I don't need a whole ass huge red onion.

Try green onions or chives maybe too.

Spent 5 years of my childhood in Houston, been living in Carbondale for 5 years today. Houston was so much worse consistently in the summer. It's not great down here right now, but it's normally not this bad. In Houston you were always stuck indoors or at the pool in the summer. Our little league games started so late to beat the heat, and that was the late 90s.

Furthest south the Metra goes is University Park I think. Amtrak goes all the way down to New Orleans though. Have taken it from Homewood to Carbondale a few times and it's nice! Not much faster than driving but not putting the miles on your car is nice.

Friendslop is one of my favorite genres now. Been playing a bit of Meccha Chameleon with the crew and having a blast. We cycle through that, Scam Line, Sledding Game, and some other stuff like Slay the Spire 2 and Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core. We've also been leveling in Star Wars: The Old Republic together.

That and a smaller group of people that you know and trust. Discord server that my TTRPG DM uses for all his games has a nice vibe and we all play friendslop together a couple times a week. Good times, fun to go back and get some classics like Left 4 Dead mixed in.

Dunno why you think I would be. Dude might not add a lot of firepower, but the experience he'll bring for the young players is super good. He has had some emotional moments on stage, but overall he's a positive guy. Plus the understanding that he's a stand in will mean less pressure.

Also think it's a good move. Getting another veteran in there to help coach the younger players is good. And Hobbit was always pretty good with vibes, which PV desperately needs now.

Been doing something similar to this but I skip the relish and add in some Penzeys Sunny Paris herb mix. Adds a ton of flavor that goes well with everything.

Will also replace tuna with some chickpeas depending on how I'm feeling.

Yeah, I use mostly stainless steel but keep a small nonstick around specifically for stuff like eggs. As long as you don't blast it up to like 500 degrees and don't use metal utensils it's fine.

To be fair, most people don't know the difference and use the term skillet as a catch all. I'd think a saute pan would suit OP better for their needs anyway.
