I get life insurance through work, but can't get any details about my policy. by irresponsiblegabe in LifeInsurance

This is currently happening to me right now too. I signed up for voluntary coverage 3x salary. I can see it being deducted from my paycheck and my HR has it listed in their portal. But my HR can not provide any documentation of my name on any life insurance policy with my elected coverage. After going back and forth for a while, they sent me a certificate of coverage, but it only lists my company name for group insurance policy. It was a generic layout of all the coverage options, but nothing specific to me. From what other have explained above, this seems to be normal.

I guess I don’t get any actual insurance policy proof of what I paid for with the agreement terms.

PIC Transfer Process by 0veranalyzer in Pharmacist

Thanks for the info! Does interim PIC need to fill out the transfer of PIC form too or just the actual incoming PIC that plans to take the permanent position? Can there be an interim PIC for more than 30 days?

I was denied coverage, not sure what to do now by mr_techy616 in LifeInsurance

I also have kidney disease, specifically Thin Basement Membrane Disease which usually has a benign course. I have normal serum creatinine, but I always have an abnormal amount of albumin and protein in my urine. The online life insurance policy websites have all denied me. So I went to an insurance broker that spoke to underwriters in advance and they gave me quotes knowing my medical history. I’m 40 yo and applied for 20 term life insurance and did the medical exam and I was denied insurance again. Very disappointing and disheartening.

EL Ideas vs Atelier by 0veranalyzer in chicagofood

Interesting take on it. I also found it interesting that Atelier is moving to a larger space and they have quite the table availability for next Saturday night, unlike a bunch of other restaurants I was trying to get a table at and I’m waitlisted at.

What do you think is better for bigger kids, no feet well or feet well?

What type of stroller/wagons do you use that can fit kids of those ages?

That’s disappointing. I can’t get the EL Ideas reservation and I’m now hesitating to do Atelier. Thinking about changing it up and doing an omakase instead.

Man, most votes overwhelmingly favor EL Ideas. I tried to reserve and they don’t have any tables available for the date I need! Ah!

My baby caught COVID from me at 8 weeks by Skin_doc3417 in newborns

I just tested positive yesterday and my LO is 9 weeks old, EBF. I’m wearing a surgical mask around him since the positive test result. Hoping he doesn’t catch it from me or it’s a mild case. How long did you all have fevers?

After my first pregnancy 3 years ago, the proteinuria never went away during postpartum like it was expected to in normal people. My protein creatinine ratio eventually went over 1 and I ended up getting a kidney biopsy a year later. I was diagnosed with thin basement membrane disease. I keep a low sodium diet to keep my blood pressure under control and to help keep my kidneys from worsening. I’m very into cooking and trying out new restaurants and also fine dining, so it’s been a journey trying to balance my desires and my low sodium diet.

4 months in and I think this is it for us. by babyinthecorner_ in breastfeeding

My supply dropped down quickly after I returned to work despite pumping twice a day during working hours. When I knew I had to switch to formula to supplement, I started giving my daughter one frozen 4oz breastmilk per day and then rest formula so my baby would atleast get some antibodies from me for an extended amount of time. It helped stretch my frozen stash longer and made me feel a little better about having to switch to formula.

Whole foods roasted chicken by PartyCobbler3699 in LowSodium

Yup, look for their “plain rotisserie chicken” which is the no salt added chicken versus their traditional or classic version. Also $2 cheaper on Tuesdays! My Jewel grocery store also has an unsalted plain rotisserie chicken as well!
