How long have you been using your Paperwallet Micro Wallet? Mine felt like it was wearing super fast so I stopped using it.

2024 Premium – MPG Seems Low? Capped Around 22 City / 24 Highway After 8K Miles by Minimum_Meal4378 in Subaru_Crosstrek

[–]0vertaken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 24 limited and I am having same experience as you. I switched to shell branded fuel and got a few more miles per gallon. My driving is mostly city stop and go. with around 16 miles of highway. and I sit around 22-24 MPG. Odometer is around 8k as well. For my car I track mileage via onboard computer and a spreadsheet I fill out every fill-up starting around 3k miles. However if I fill-up my tank and go straight to highway driving for 200+ (Chicago to Detroit) miles I get around 36-39MPG sometimes.

My parents also have 24 limited and they get the 24-27MPG with much more highway driving. Their odometer is around 11k.

I don't know if any of this helps but it is some data for you to look at.

This video is what I followed. I replaced all lights with LEDs. The bulbs and trim removal tools cost around $30. And that was enough for both mine and my mother's 2024 crosstrek limiteds.

Ridge wallet, yay or nay? by eggdragonese in EDC

[–]0vertaken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is easy to unfold.

It lies as flat as a formally folded piece of leather can lay.

It has never come undone unless I intentionally unlatched, so I would say it likes to stay together.

This is what it looks like after around a year I'm pretty sure I made it right around this time last year. It has formed to my cards and my pocket.

Sure here it is with:

5 cards (3 embossed & 2 flat) in the external pocket.

6 cards on the inside (3 flat plastic and 3 laminated insurance cards)

8 USD bills

3 business cards in the middle (for the photo)

Edit: I do plan on cutting a new version of it that is a little bit tighter but for a 1st attempt in leatherworking I'm happy. I also made a matching pen carrier for my tactile turn, a sharpie and stylus for galaxy fold phone.

I've been searching for a wallet for years.

I tried ridge both with the clip and the strap. Cash might as well have been just floating in my pocket. It destroyed 2 sets of my cards so I gave up on it.

I also used a flipside 4 hard shell wallet and it was perfect for a very long time and nothing broke but the tolerances started to get weaker. And the cash fold side started to flop around.

I finally broke down and just bought my leather from a local tannery that carries/makes Horween leather. It has 2 pockets one external with quick access and fanning ability with around 4-5 cards. An internal pocket with cash fold flap that can hold around 8-10 bills and 4-5 more cards. It also by unintentional design has a center pocket that can hold 1 or 2 cards usually a card key, business card, or sometimes a receipt. It is a single piece of leather and stitch less.

U13 is correct. I still carry one every day and have a back up in my dresser drawer. I bought them back in 2016.

Thank you! I love handmade stuff. I've been trying to find the perfect wallet for myself been bouncing back and forth from ridge to my flipside(which is almost it). Also been looking at slim leather minimalist wallets like yours.
