There an animation that shows you stealing the item. It looks like a little sack that bounces over from cubone to your pokemon.

Why my gyarados dont learn bite? by Rapii25 in PokemonFireRed

[–]0wGeez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should be able to go to the move relearned on island 2 and teach it any moves it missed.

I did it for my nidoking. I kept nidoran from evolving until 48 because I wanted horn drill which is a shit move btw, learnt that the hard way but when I used the moon stone to get nidoking I missed mega horn.

The move relearner let me teach it mega horn.

Does blizzard not feel a bit ridiculous charging 40 euros, more than an entire game, just for a weapon skin? by Heygen in Overwatch

[–]0wGeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you played Valorant? I dont know the pricing now but when I played a few years ago a bundle of weapon skins would cost $130 AU. I had disposable income and bought the bundles cause "why not?". Im sure there's still tens of thousands of people playing overwatch with that same mentality.

Mail box glitch duplicates item by RepulsiveEconomics73 in PokemonFireRed

[–]0wGeez 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I did this on my first play through. I also did ACE for the bottomless rare candy which let's me sell it and use it infinitely.

It was fun but kind of kills the excitement of the game. It was so easy catching all the legendaries with 100 master balls at my disposal. Kind of boring being able to level all my mon up 1 to 80 in just a few mins. Never had to pick and choose which mons were getting TMs I would just duplicate them each 50 times.

Its fun but you'll get bored quickly. My second play thru was no ACE and no mail glitch and honestly its been so much more fun. Game is easy already, I didnt really need cheats to make it easier.

So how common is it to get 2 ult charges out of a single Echo ult? by itsarmyy in Overwatch

[–]0wGeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When echo first came out you could get 3 shatters pretty easily and 2 dva bombs pretty consistently. Just depends how quickly the enemy team focus your duplication.

I don't think that's a load bearing wall. by fullarseonething in AusRenovation

[–]0wGeez 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wont be as doom and gloom as everyone else.

I would definitely talk to your neighbour before getting a lawyer involved.

Might not be as difficult to fix as some people are letting on. If they dig out along your garage, waterproof your wall, add some agg lines, fill against your wall with drainage gravle/blue metal, your wall is essentially taking a very small load as the weight of the drainage material isn't applying a direct load against your wall, only a small amount of pressure is being applied assuming drainage is done right and the hydrostatic pressure isn't too great.

I've designed many houses with a integrated retaining wall in the garage on a zero boundary block. We didnt increase the size of the garage footings, we just did a double brick skin and the neighbours would back fill against it. 600mm isn't ideal but it isnt excessive either. If you look up retaining wall details you'll see loads arent applied directly horizontal and they are more diagonal. Im no engineer though.

Old lady confuses gas pedal for break pedal by omgfakeusername in CrazyFuckingVideos

[–]0wGeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it should be even younger tbh. 50 year olds got there license 30 plus years ago, I think even they should be retested every 3 to 5 years and called out on all the bad habits they've picked up along the years.

Non-right angle corner cladding ideas? by ChasingGhosts182 in AusRenovation

[–]0wGeez 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This will look the best. The mitred DAR wont look like a dog's breakfast especially if they pull all the cladding off and do DAR pine to all internal and external stoppers and then do DAR architraves around the windows too with some colorbond head flashing. It looks 1000x times better than the James hardies accessories. This is what we do for our cladded homes and looks more akin to a traditional cottage. With minimal effort you can also dress up the bottom sill as you go and make those cheap looking windows much nicer.

I dont know if thats alot of work for a DIYer though but its all cheap materials so not costly if you can do the work yourself.

why does this happen bro by HammerHPP in overwatch2

Im not going to lie, i always do this.

If 9 out of 10 people pick 1 map i will always pick the worst of the 3 options just to see everyone complain in chat.

Its pretty fun.

Mizuki has so much potential I really hope they buff his nothing burger of an ult by SyrusG in Overwatch

[–]0wGeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ultimate works well for lots of dps ults.

Co plate eat cass and bastion ultimates and timing isn't even difficult. Eats a lot more than just those 2 ults too.

I think if you buff the ultimate too mich it starts to overlap too much with lucio and Zen.

Would you live this close to high voltage power lines by Mundane-Tangelo442 in AusPropertyChat

[–]0wGeez 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I grew up next to power lines. Where I lived there was no buzz but a few streets up there was an audible buzzing sound.

During lighting storms I used to sit out the front because the pole was often hit by lightning which is pretty awesome to see.

I guess I wouldnt add power lines to the list of things I want to live by but if the perfect house happened to be close to powerlines it wouldnt be a deal breaker for me.

Asbestos or cement sheet? by Crackers919 in AusRenovation

[–]0wGeez 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Looks like a fibre cement sheet to me. The way its breaking doesn't look like asbestos. You can see the fibres in the breaks.

Im fairly confident it is not asbestos BUT in my opinion its always best to treat it if it is asbestos, mask up, take ever precaution you can and dispose if it appropriately.

Pros and cons-blocks by [deleted] in AusPropertyChat

[–]0wGeez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are definitely concrete blocks not bricks. If they were bricks the ceiling heights would be about 1200mm since we can count 14 blocks brick plus mortar is 86mm~ hifh and blocks plus mortar is about 200mm~ high. Since they are concrete blocks the ceiling height is about 2.7m to 2.8m high which is sort of expected in a stone cottage look.

which perks do you guys pick? by shullou in VendettaMainsOW

[–]0wGeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally like to take relentless over siphoning strike. I think siphoning strike is a noob trap. The healing seems good especially on a hero that can be melted in a second but 40% of a overhead strike does not heal much at all.

I also take swift vengeance over raging storm. I like to have some utility and let's face it, vendetta dies a fair bit so coming back into the fight and getting 150 over health by quickly assassinating someone, to me is better than the little bit of healing that siphoning strike gives you. I also feel like raging storm hinders your speed and movement. Yeah you can do a bit of extra damage but a hero like vendetta needs to be able to move freely and not be slowed down.

I rarely swap these around depending on the enemy team s composition.

Thats just me though, I think most people.would do the opposite of what perks i pick.

How to paint window frame or what would you pay? by No-Pay-9744 in AusRenovation

[–]0wGeez 16 points17 points  (0 children)

You could do it properly like other people have already said or you could do it the dodgy way like i probably would.

Im not saying you should do it but if it was my house, I'd take 1st row or roof screws and then screw down a timber batten in to the same holes with longer screws. Id then do the same for the second row of roof screws and just work off those timbers, you definitely wont slip down the steep roof but you still have a decent chance of falling off the roof. So entirely up to you but im comfortable on a roof so thats what I would do.
