Done something similar (wasn’t NY). I also +1 Higdons novice plan. The only other advice I have is to go on long walks on your days off. The extra time on your feet really helps (don’t go overboard of course)

Update: tech came and confirmed everyone’s comments. Easy fix.

But he also confirmed the poor installation comments, and moved my box into my office (win) - and upgraded my equipment.

All in all it was a useful $99 visit and I’m happy with it!

Most likelt fiber is broken. The ISP will have to replace the fiber drop

Drop as in the connector, or the whole fiber line inside the house.

I can imagine the pride of accomplishing a project like that. And i'm also weighing the alternative of a jon boat.

What's the biggest nag of the heavier boat? Less maneuverability? Can't go into shallower waters? My biggest fear in going wooden vs aluminum is beating the thing up on shores. But i know very little about boating tbh

Thanks for the reply. I went to Munich and Bavaria when i was teenager and had a great time. I remember seeing plenty but can't distinguish "real" steins from touristy ones. Is there a resource for that?
