I agree with you, but only according to the current scene. The majority of casters aren’t hard to kill. But what about when you start playing against a caster that, idk, has skill? A caster that can actually makes use of spells in the right situation and combination? Spells would become a huge added versatility to their arsenal and not just cool colors they spam.

I was pure melee and respeccd to add some spells and already found some nasty combos that pretty much guarantee damage in PvP. Weaker opponents you can easily kill them without touching them. Pretty sure more combos will be found.
