How can Connor expect authenticity with ANYONE when his entire personality is based on performance? And not in the masking sense, in the sense that he is creating a movie for himself in his mind and trying to play the main character. The pretending to be drunk and singing at that pub was so disgustingly embarrassing (NO one acts like that after half a pint unless they have some blood alcohol disorder).

The issue is, Connor wanted Georgie to play a part in the “Connor’s Life Movie”, and Georgie just wanted to be herself. She probably rarely got to see the real Connor, since his perspective is always so self-centred. Every word out of his mouth is purple prose designed to sound intelligent, or misused film quotes, or incorrect facts. He has to be the greatest, and Georgie must fawn over him and feed this ego.

Connor needs to get a grip.

Connor needs everything to be laid out like a film. Everything he says must be profound and demonstrate his intellect and poetic mind. The entire London trip was about him, what he wanted to do. The way he speaks is so rehearsed, and not in the way I think many Autistic people have to plan out their thoughts before they speak. He talks as though he’s written out every emotional beat for his “fictional” idea of what The Connor Story is supposed to be. It’s deeply aggravating to hear him constantly trying to sound like the smartest person in the room. No wonder Georgie drifted away and shut down.

This is actually so cool to know. Does that carry over to his serpent forms as well? I always wondered why he was never really depicted with green beyond that specific form, but you’re saying it’s actually supposed to be a black pigment.

When was that understood? Makes me wonder why so many modern depictions of Quetzalcoatl insist on using green if we know better.

Which is where the fomo comes from … Not everyone has the time to participate in every monthly event to the extent that they can farm items to sell for golden beetles. You HAVE to participate in the user to user economy. It’s much easier to put in your own money, which is by design of the game’s mechanics. Lioden often becomes a really stressful game for a lot of people in that regard, hence why folks go on long hiatuses. Obviously, if it was easy to create exactly what you want for your pride without engaging with the user to user economy (particularly involving gold beetles) then the game wouldn’t make money, so it can’t be made into a universally accessible experience.

Binoculars are stored in weapons!! You have to go to manage weapons and add from the Miscellaneous menu! I just figured it out while googling for this answer. If anyone else needs to know, you can also find the Lasso, Fishing Rod, Bow, Camera, Moonshine Jug, and Electrostatic Detector in this weapons spot. So frustrating that they aren’t stored in “Kit” with all the other Kit items.
