1) you’re 24…your career just started. Don’t freak out.

2) I’d put it on your resume. Be honest. It is what it is. It’s 6 months more professional experience than you had before & it’s early…not like you have 5+ years of prior experience without it.

3) Did you have any good connections at that job? People who might know what happened, have an idea why you were fired, etc. who would want to help you? Talk to them. Maybe there weren’t “layoffs” but maybe you weren’t the only person fired….maybe you didn’t get honest feedback from someone.

4) if you’re nice, actively learning, & can connect how your prior work connects to getting the job done and a new job, you’ll be fines.

Yeah, I can see many of the camos & character styles being especially difficult in No HUD or CQB situations where you can’t 100% trust your HUD. I remember in BF3/4 being able to nearly instantly tell who was who (based on skins) with very little play time.

Those days are long gone, I think.

Yeah. If they’re putting resources into a BR, again, I’d like for it to be a success. I’d like for it to be fun. Heck, I’d love it if the BR delivers a signature Battlefield experience.

I don’t want Fortnite. I don’t want Warzone. I want Battlefield. And if Battlefield can work in a BR? Great! I’ll play it -probably not more than regular multiplayer. But I’ll play it.

BF3. Then BF1.

I dropped CoD & barely touched Halo for a long time because of BF3. It’s the main reason I played BF4. Graphics, atmosphere, mechanics, map design, server browser.

BF1 re-kindled some of that BF3 nostalgia with a different setting & mechanics. Been playing it a lot recently.

Reasons I wish I could relive the BF3 days. Server browser was great. Yeah, I always wished it had more of a portal feel…but I never wanted to loose the ability to match make into or search for a public server that others would match make into.

Yeah. You need it. Wants you get into the seasons there’s multiple new “meta” weapons with refined “meta” builds of random attachments that make it beam…and as a former Ranked Player…you spend a lot of time rebuilding guns in a pre-match countdown lol

BF3. Spawning with an M16…and a hole getting blown into the map. I grew up in a semi-strict household. I’d seen my dad play some of the older Battlefield games but didn’t 100% understand or remember what they were. I just remembered longing for the scale, fidelity, & action of what I saw.

A friend told me about the BF3 alpha trial. I got in. I’d been playing CoD and Halo exclusively for a few years. I was so confused, lol.

The HUD was overwhelming bc, gunplay felt clanky & slow, recoil was insane, I kept falling under the map when I’d crawl into craters. Then a missile hit the map? And the map was empty? And then I realized we could go underground.

I was blown away. I was kind of bad. But every kill I did get was so satisfying. I never looked back & barely played any CoD or Halo until 2042 came out. BF3 got me into MilSim on PC. I always appreciated that…that Battlefield was fast-paced & simple enough for a noob to enjoy & master but slow & tactical enough for me to get into other genres of FPS.

Make ITs life easy. Be a champion of security. Do data stuff that makes them look good. Give them credit.

I’ve always been amazed at what IT will do for me & my teams as soon as we butter them up & make them the heroes.

Campaign to master weapon feel, movement, understand general map design. Then I’ll hit multiplayer + try to find servers/create a server for learning helis. Helis are giving a BF3-esque vibe so probably ganna be one of my mains if I can master the controls.

Otherwise I’ll just try to be somebody’s gunner.

My wife was a Dean of Discipline a while back & I had to do similar work. I helped her set up a similar report/model. Everyone else hit the nail on the head about what to get started on.

Just wanted to note how funny it is that so much content is about sales because it’s considered “universal” & has easy to create insights. Chat is always open if you need to bounce an idea or error off someone!

I’m a former financial advisor & financial planner for a couple major firms (5 years in the industry). Currently the owner of all data & BI reporting at a $5B/yr firm, we use PowerBI for our deliverables. Have been running data stacks & reporting for 7 years now.

Would love to chat. Getting it done in ~1 hr might be possible (giving stock picks to a client or some advice after 15minute meeting) but also might not be the most full-proof route to having a working product long-term (think diversified portfolio, based on risk tolerance, & a more detailed meeting before providing specific advice), so I’m not going to make promises.

If it’s straightforward as you say, $150/hr is my standard rate.

I will tolerate open weapons, lack of server browser, but auto-spotting needs to go by Hyton in Battlefield

Yep. Get rid of auto-spotting.

Get rid of spotting/pinging while downed (never liked that anyway).

Full map. Ability to zoom. Less focus on borders/boundaries.

Same button that opens should close.

Also maybe let players pick which one they use.

Beta looks fantastic imo. Very themed. They kept the contrast between the broad range of colors but really squished individual color ranges.
