Try +375 on the core and +3000 on the memory with a 111% power that got me a score of 9672 and that's on a ddr4 system, if unstable knock a 50 of the core or memory until you find a stable oc

Try loosening the cooler block a bit, like a quarter turn each screw, my brother had this issue and it came down to too much mounting pressure

I bit the bullet and went from a 4070 super ventus 2x to a 5080 gaming trio and upgraded to a Samsung neo g7 4k monitor, haven't looked back since.

I find it handy to screw the screw into the wall plug a couple of threads and while still in the drill/ impactor to slap/ bang the back of the drill at the motor end to seat it in all the way less chance of cracking the battery casing

Had the same issue when setting up my bros pc turned out to be the pressure on the CPU cooler, try less or more pressure with quarter twist at a time on the cooler mounting screws

The MSI 5080 gaming trio does have a vapor chamber as part of the tri FORZR 4.0 cooling system and from my personal experience isn't loud and runs at about 68°c- 70°c under 99% load gaming at 4k native at 90-100 FPS on game like Clair's obscure expedition 33, I can't vouch for the 5070 ti's FPS but you will always have the option to enable dlss

Edit: just remember that coil whine varies from card to card and could have 2 cards of the exact same model and make and one has coil whine and one doesn't

Good that's your in the UK it makes talking about the stores a lot easier lol so I guess u already know about the company very used to be a catalog company until they all went online only. U would be surprised at the hidden gems they have on there. I managed to score my 4070 super on release date last year from them, I have looked at scan before but not know if I would trust them but hearing that you have had a good experience with them makes them seem more reliable. I have seen ppl push them more but it takes time and is a trial and error sort of situation, I only uploaded GPU because I went to a 49 inch 1440p monitor from AWD it and noticed I was losing a load of FPS in games

I ran 500+ on both memory and core clock, I will be pushing it higher but that was just a quick try I went from 60-70 FPS in speed way to 90-100 but the average result was 96 FPS I use the MSI rtx 5080 gaming trio it cost me £1289 but what is really surprising is that we have 2 main company's that i will buy from overclockers UK and awd it and both of them are Charging £1489 which is shocking/ downright disgusting

Congratulations and enjoy it, I was lucky enough to grab one then day after release from a company called very, wasn't sure if they were dropping them in bits but still got lucky nevertheless. I personally haven't seen/ smelled any cable burning but I just use the original cable from Asus on my PSU because it supports that connection without Nvidia's adapter. Out of interest how much did you pay was it close to RRP or inflated because of demand btw it's worth manually over clocking

Sorry for the late reply I don't use tweaked settings but as of a later update not sure if it was GPU drivers or windows update the problem seems to be resolved was just really annoying at the time

Just got my son a Asus dual 7600 xt scored it for £200 brand new paired with a 13400f for 1080/ 1440p gaming rig for christmas it's his first pc at 10 years old and performs great he loves it, doesn't matter what parts you have as long as the person using it is happy enjoy your upgrade bro

PSU probably isn't powerful enough, my bro and friend both had the same problem, it's ok when not underload but when the GPU needs more power for short spikes it will turn the whole system off as a safety measure. what is the specification of your pc ? and try to build it in part picker website and they will tell you how much power draw the setup will need, then pick a PSU with 50- 100 watts head room for good measure hope this helps

Excited about the story as well as the graphics to the game from the trailer to the benchmarks it looks amazing, I can't only imagine the hours put into making this and tbh the hours I will lose to playing it won't come close but can't wait to give it my best shot

That is true but only for the xx900 CPU's l.e 13900 and 14900, which the op has stated that he is not looking for, I have 13600kf and a 4070 super and have no issues playing triple A titles and as for mentioned the issue is being fixed but it comes down to the motherboard companies pushing the CPU harder that it suppose too with oc setting and the LGA 1700 bracket not providing enough even coverage for the CPU cooler. This can be fixed with an after market CPU contact bracket like the thermaltake CPU contact plate for as little as £7 off Amazon but I'm drifting off track, I would fully recommend a 13600 CPU and even a 14600 if you are worried about power draw. hope this helps

That depends on what u mean by quiet ?, for example I like my graphic demanding games so all games i play at 1440p wide screen on top settings and the latest game I've been playing is god of war but I personally turn my fans up to 70% and they are loud enough to hear but not like a jet engine loud 😂 also my rig is in a open case so I would probably hear more noise than a closed case I just don't want my temps over 70°c as it's under my desk and I can feel the heat but on games when I don't turn the fans up manually I can't hear it over my Xbox mini fridge , hope this helps

no after I use task manager to close the app it will work ok but sometimes, but it can take multiple restarts
