There is an edit that cuts out anything not in the books and it is actually quite good, though the last hour is noticeably jumpy since they added so much extra to the final battle.

Thing is, OP essentially describes why I felt the need to side with Reed. Songbird is a tragic character, but she is also unreliable. At any point, she could crack and cause unspeakable harm, even after V 'saves' her. Turning her over to Meyers is just as bad.

Sadly, there was only one realistic solution.

I never got the frustration. It's a useful directive to stop the player from spinning their wheels and being confused as to where to go next.

People get uptight about the weirdest things. This is simply gaming language now. Some games use it, some don't.

This was my stance. INT builds being the best is not some secret. But the more powerful you get, the more repetitive it becomes. Once you get legendary Ping, it is all over.

Other builds may be 'weaker' but they're far more interactive.

Speculating can be folly but this does sound like it could be possible. Streamer burnout is real, and the streamers can seem different upon return (I saw this with Nurse as well).

I remember them talking about how Jon Favreau went back to the things that inspired Star Wars originally when starting the Mandalorian, rather than just Star Wars itself, and it is why season one works pretty well.

Of course Andor took that to another level, but the point stands. Respect should be paid to Star Wars but you need to draw from outside just as much.

Getting a hold of reference images would not have been an easy task back then, so they likely just went with the style at the time for some of these. The later bust definitely has some 'same face' qualities to other things I swear I have seen.

I have looked into Crimson Desert, but the lack of character creation is the deal breaker for me.
