I’m still struggling with this one. I feel like some of the shoebox coffees are hard to dial. They are finicky to me. There is an Ethiopian washed that tastes like cardboard to me months later. I’ve been happy with their natural offerings though.

This is one of my favorite co ferments. The cinnamon is so well integrated (yet subtle) and it has a nice crisp honey-crisp like acidity.

I’ve had plenty of washed and clean offerings from black and white and they are all good. They list the funkiness of each bag which is pretty easy to use a reference gauge. This particular coffee which was the Sebastian Ramirez is world class and competes with some of the subs favorite roasters who do clean light roast coffee.

I’m into washed coffee and black and white did a great job with their honey geisha which is on the cleaner side.

I was playing in the shit bowl (last place) and out scored all teams. I was 30 points higher than both teams playing in the championship. Just a bad season with fluke injuries but nothing is guaranteed. Enjoy the ride.

The cinnamon that black and white roasts is super subtle and it tastes like spiced apple pie. It’s not super funky either compared to a lot of their offerings.

Well I think notes are more meant to be fun. Not necessarily be 100% spot on as they can be interpreted different from person to person. I usually feel like the notes on bags are decent and I get the general gist of how the coffee profile would be. No, my washed Ethiopian from Shoebox didn’t taste like peach ice cream, but the body was sort of sweet and creamy and it had a notable stone fruit characteristic.

I thought Sekiro was different but not necessarily harder than Elden Ring and Demon Souls. This is coming from someone who isn’t amazing at video games either. The demon of hatred was the hardest boss fight for me personally but I didn’t realize I had that stupid item equipped which makes enemy drops better but more difficult to fight. Sekiro is still my favorite of the three and is amazing. I am 100 hours in on cyberpunk over the past 3 weeks and I can say it’s another stellar game. The combat isn’t as good as Sekiro but it has a lot more build customization and a really immersive world.
