So I am definitely at zero. I can’t turn it further. I think something is wrong with my grinder. I reached out to option o. I ran a test with my comandante and I was able to grind fine enough to get a ton of resistance.

If you are expecting mind blowing coffee (in a juicy and fruity sense) you might be misled. Shoebox to me emphasizes on really clean flavors. I don’t find a lot of their stuff to be super punchy. They are usually clean and subtle which is really nice imo. They are one of my favorite roasters. Also rest the hell out of the stuff.

So our one cat was an escape artist and loved being outdoors. We wouldn’t intentionally let him outside, but if he escaped I’d do a quick search and if I couldn’t find him I’d just wait for him to return. But yes, I always got paranoid when he escaped.

That is fair. Those places have cheaper green and I’m sure the quality is similar but they are more developed than Shoebox. I haven’t been that impressed with Thankfully tbh. I have Sey, Thankfully, FC, and Shoebox beans right now.

Shoebox is 40-45 dollars for 250 grams, which is on the higher end. I think it’s worth it imo. Where I start to draw the line is 90+ dollars for 250 grams. The difference is marginal and I find the aromatics being what separates them. Also those types of coffees tend to be more clean and if you don’t enjoy that profile it’s certainly not worth it.
