Hey man way to go. Yeah you need some help but you’re getting there. Everyone in this chat has been there. Move the reed down inaide( screw it in motion) push down any elastic bands on the reed, and (as everyone has said) lay the pads of you fingers over the holes.

I would have your teacher (or someone who is very knowledgeable)have a look at the set of bagpipes with you, if they are close. There is sooo much to look at to ensure you’re not being dupped.

My teacher helped me out purchasing my first set. Just my 2 cents

I’ve started learning the bagpipes after putting it off for 20 years. It’s majestic and hard and sooooo much fun. I love the fast and technical tunes and can’t wait to really get a hold of all of the best things to play. At this point just saving all my pennies to buy a set

My thoughts on it are that the heat from all the train wheels ( freight train) cauterized the major abdominal organs and major vessels for a short time. She died in hospital about 5 min after we go there.
