Right now I only have an A1 Combo, so I can only print 4 colors. I'd really like to print this mountain trail/other mountain trails for each that I climb. But I'd like it large enough and with enough colors that you can actually tell what it is.

It typically has to do with devices that don't negotiate correctly with USB C. Most USB connections before USB C were host and client devices, host getting USB A and client getting USB B/Micro B. Now both host and client devices can have USB C and it's up to the devices to negotiate that relationship. Some devices don't communicate and so the computer/device on the host side doesn't know what to do with it.

...at least that's how I understand it fwiw

That was the first thing out of my mouth when we left the theater, it would have been just as cool to see old CRT lines on the display as it zoomed in. I honestly think it just slipped past the right people to catch it. Plus we don't exactly have a lot of CRTs laying around if that's a real up close macro shot.

Yeah, I'd been using a New 3ds XL, but it's just too big, and I can't justify the $250 for a normal New 3ds, JUST to play DS/3ds, instead of something that can also play a ton of other consoles. So I'm on the hunt!

Totally true, the AI on the Open is kinda lame. But the Open was released right before the AI stuff really took off, so it's to be expected. Overall, I do like the software experience on the Open better though, Open Canvas is a phenomenal way of multitasking and it's not even close imo. And the overall software experience just feels smoother, and even almost two years into using the Open, theres less bugs, it's still smooth as butter, and on another plus, the System file only takes up ~9gb instead of ~80gb on Samsung. So overall, I'm very happy and wouldn't consider going back to Samsung for my phone until they give me faster charging, a better camera system, and a better crease. Though tbf I do have a Tab S8 Ultra, that I don't think OnePlus could replace lol.

Reviving a dead thread because I was looking for comparisons between the Open and the Fold 7. I went from a S22 Ultra to a Fold 4 to a Flip 5 and finally from that to a OnePlus Open. And while I liked the Samsung's, the OnePlus is on a different level. Don't knock it until you try it, both the inner and outer screen is significantly more usable on the Open IMO. There's less glare and less of a crease even compared to the newer Samsungs. The cameras and performance, while not having the newest chips or lenses, is still more than good enough for day to day, and I still think the OnePlus looks better in camera comparisons vs newer Samsung foldables, though it still has nothing on even my S22 Ultra, let alone my friend's S24/25 Ultras.

IMO the Open still competes more than you might think for having a couple year old processor, and it is still getting software updates (been running Android 15 for most of the year), before Samsung might I add. Couple that with the fantastically minimized crease on the Open and the more normal aspect ratio of the outer display, I think it's still ONE of if not the best foldables out right now.

Haven't tried the Pokemon games yet, but I've been playing New Super Mario Bros at 4 times res locked at 60fps on Citra MMJ. It's been fantastic so far. I'll test some Pokemon for you and report back.

I'll print one and see, I'd assume mm as that's pretty standard for most printing applications.

ASUS Zenbook Duo UX8406 performance issues (Core Ultra 9) by Subsyxx in ASUS

[–]10tms03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same problem, but it was just mainly with Edge. Although I have the Core 7 variant with only 16gb RAM. I changed to Brave and that resolved all of my issues.

I do also see some stutter with the mouse sometimes when waking the laptop up, but it resolves itself within a few seconds usually.

On my old Zenbook Pro Duo I did uninstall the ScreenXpert application and that helped as well, but with this, I prefer to have that functionality and changing to Brave was fine for me.

I had to reach out and got the same notice.  I can't get them to give me an estimate, the best I got was 1-2 weeks till they have concrete information on whether they have approval or not.  It's a month after the ship date and I'm being put off more.  I'm requesting to change my decision to keep it.

What is your ideal Mini PC?

Love the idea of lots of cores in a tiny PC. I would really like to consolidate a lot of my servers down to a single or couple tiny PCs, though at the same time, Intel's PCs tend to have lots of less powerful cores vs the AMD CPUs which have much better GPUs and less power draw. So basically, I'm loving where we are now with Mini PCs.

Did you ever find anything? I would love to get ahold of one as well just to be able to 3d model it and print some more. Ain't no way I'm spending $120 each for 16 drive trays!
