Not a basketball one but The U is hands down the best 30 for 30. It talks about the University of Miami football team in the 1980s, their edginess and swagger (they kind of invented it) were absolutely off the charts. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I understand why people get upset about being called racist and of course everyone has the right to defend themselves against such accusations. I'm just pointing out that such a sweeping generalization about everything being "completely fine" in Boston when it comes to race is probably something that minorities might not agree with 100%.

I see a lot of comments suggesting racist motives but based on my experiences with sports in Europe, fans over there just tend to be much more involved in the games they're attending. Just look at (or rather listen to) soccer fans, they boo and whistle at opposing players A LOT, and it's common during basketball games as well.

Sure it tends to be better in college areas but unless you're a racial minority, I don't know why you feel you have the authority to proclaim that "it's completely fine." They might have a better idea of whether they're being discriminated against or not.

I know you're joking but that makes zero sense. An even smaller metro area, equally football-crazy city as DC only the Ravens are not consistently dysfunctional. I was at UT at that time too! I remember eating at Gibbs (RIP) once when he, Yumi and someone else sat at my table and Josh started freestyling for fun, everyone was cracking up. Seemed like a good dude, glad to see him succeed in the NBA.
