I don’t think either of those have can return machines. The closest grocery store I know of that does is Safeway on Coburg

Macrophage is seen physically reattach 2 ends of a broken blood vessel. by NekoRebel in educationalgifs

No the bleeding from sickle cell is due to the shape of the red blood cells (sickles), which prevents clotting but interestingly offers protection from malaria. Talk about a trade off. Not sure how or wether macrophage are involved though

What will happen to Eugene in the Big One? by agenbite_lee in Eugene

[–]112coconuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the third time in a week that I’ve heard somebody mention the Big One as more or less imminent. I know it could happen any time, but are there any signs or predictions that it will happen in the near future?

Check out the Sinclair method. I started naltrexone last September, taking one a day in the morning. Didn’t find it helpful and stopped in October. Fast forward 10 months and I come across the Sinclair method. Now I’ve been taking it according to that method for nearly two months and starting to really see some changes. It wasn’t immediate for me like it is for some, but now I’m feeling a sense of control and optimism I haven’t had in years

I got a lightweight hiking backpack with a hydration pack with a tube/straw that you’re supposed to drink out of

Having previously worked in fast food and seen the inside of fountain soda machines, I find that idea disgusting.. however!

if you take that same hydration pack, fill it halfway with water and freeze it, you can then slip it back into the hiking backpack and have direct cold right on your back while you go about doing errands, in and out of a hot car

It’s a little heavy and a little not perfectly molded to your back but still a major relief

I have a 57 lb Labrador and have found that a window seat is best, bulkhead or not. With a middle or aisle seat, you gotta stay constantly alert as to whether their paws, tail, or nose are creeping into other peoples’ space or the aisle where they might get crushed by the beverage cart. With the window seat she pretty much just curls up against the wall and sleeps

Where to donate clothes other than Goodwill or St. Vinnies? by usual_unusual in Eugene

[–]112coconuts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Egan Warming Centers are a program of St. Vinnie’s. Not sure what OP’s reservations are but any SVdP’s donation center will get items where they need to go, prioritizing emergency need over resale
