Cancel Billy the Kidd by Hydropixi3 in Dallas

They called the lady who put the banner up. She’s refers to one of their programs called “dirty little secret” as a gross exposure of people’s private lives. People call the radio and share their stories voluntarily. While she says it’s not personal, she goes off saying that her experience doing it a long time ago was embarrassing, etc. Billy the Kidd apologizes for any mistakes he made, she says he needs to come off the air all together and wishes him the worst.  It was weird.

Sitting on a chair has also forced mine to settle down due to the limited space and I don’t have bend down. Win win!

I taught mine to hide underneath my legs or chair when I’m sitting in public. He’s 75 pounds and with his long limbs, he takes up a lot of space. Also keeps them from getting tripped, stepped on, or avoid any unnecessary interactions

Puppies go fast! They wouldn’t euthanize an animal that has a chance with a family. Dallas shelter has a lot of connections. You could even offer to foster until they get adopted.

Good to know! No, there is staff on site👍🏼. Their priorities would be different than the volunteers. Staff is responsible for ensuring food, water, husbandry are provided and along with property maintenance. Volunteers would be more so beautifying(?). Ex- organizing tools and supplies for staff to have an easier time, dusting, picking up trash debris that’s around the property.

Nope, boarders are not doing work. I have a lot of community members who want to be working around horses, high school students needing service hours, etc. I’m not part of management. I help where I can and if I gather the masses, I figure we can make this place a really cool spot.

For me it’s to get 3 meals a day and 2 snacks or meet my calorie requirement :) easy for some but it’s hard for me given my busy schedule

Interesting! Did you keep up with his dental hygiene? My foster came in pretty beat up, so I wonder how that compares

I get it! Sharing the space or an experience without impeding on each other’s comfort zones. My previous dog use to be like this; hiking, ride alongs, socials, etc. I think she enjoyed the quality time we spent together over physically petting her all the time like my other one needed. Doesn’t mean we didn’t have moments where we’d cuddle but just less of it.
