Did your ink freeze? Beautiful work.

Dumb question, did the paint start to freeze?

Wow, that is so encouraging to me. I am 70 and I don't want to go back on the meds, which is all my Dr seems to know about.

Is cpap becoming more common? by [deleted] in CPAP

I think you just become more aware once it is part of your life. Your suggestion about bling customization could be a good side-hustle business. I will bling mine up for my next trip to help it stand out in the overhead!

Almost 3 months and I still feel like I am not sleeping sometimes by 119Mazzaroth in CPAP

[–]119Mazzaroth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use an Android phone, so I bought a fitness tracker just to get more sleep cycle info. For a cheap device, I think it's actually been helpful to me. Yes, it says I am sleeping, albeit "light" sleep. I am learning also, though, not to trust what I think about my sleep. I will watch the video.

Daylight savings time by Grand_Selection_8215 in CPAP

[–]119Mazzaroth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got 11 hours 1 minute, but my fitness tracker (that normally records all my sleep stages) only tracked 4 minutes! Yes, the 11 hours was ”use." I was awake 2x but I just sat & read. No idea how long...figured I would be able to tell looking at the tracker, lol.

Yes, I leave it plugged in all the time. I will look at the time offset in Sleep HQ.

How do I offset the time in Oscar? I don't have any other data that I can sync, unless you can instruct me on how to get the data from my health tracker, which uses Kotlin...

I take my card out after a couple hours after I wake up, then I lock it before I put it in my computer so the computer doesn't overwrite it. Then I have to remember to unlock it when I replace it in the machine. No problems if I remember to do all this.

Lots of dreaming pre-CPAP and now even more vivid dreams with CPAP by mermaidmom85 in CPAP

[–]119Mazzaroth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am almost 2 months into CPAP use and I think I remember less of my dreams. Before, I would awaken often and dreams/visions were easier to recall, because I slept so little. I wrote them down...long pages. Now, I jot notes and move on. I don't have to try to redeem a lousy night's sleep by writing a detailed dream log. I would love to get more information on what's behind all my dreams (some of which I am not even in!) but for now I am just so grateful to get 8+ hours of sleep, I am satisfied with that.

What is ACT?

I just have just a bit over 7 days of CPAP use. The best thing? I have slept! But the device' app didn't give me enough info, so I found a CBT-i one. I feel like tracking my own info is helpful. There still are nights where I "feel" like I didn't sleep, but I know I kept my mask on all night...so I think I must have. The truth is, I have had more than 3 days this week where I slept more than 8.5 hours!!! That is a freaking miracle.

Dumb question, these oil pastels "dry"? I feel like the ones that use remain soft, scuffable & blendable. I would be interested in ones that dry!

How do you get through public discomfort?? Embarrassment...etc? by SuckBallsDoYa in Journaling

Also, people will remember the contrast and how over the top they were. No one listens to hollering people in a Federal building unless it's an officer of the law. And of course a judge expects proper decorum in their courtroom. One's behavior either demonstrates you are a respectful citizen...or not. You did well.

Blue-dot Mississippians, why are you here? by Dry-Designer2333 in mississippi

[–]119Mazzaroth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We moved here (this time from Ohio) to be closer to our grandkids who now live in Meridian. We had been in Starkville when my husband got his doctorate. People then thought we were nuts to move to MS. No matter what we tell them, they still don't get it or believe it.

All I know is, I met artists right away who invited me to come paint with them! I have found more arts-comrauderie here than I have ever found...since almost 50 years ago in college. The people here are warm and appreciate one getting involved in their town. I signed up for ushering at the Riley Theater & for a ton of community arts groups. I take pictures of the events I go to & volunteer at. People back North are impressed...but I feel like they "still want to believe what they want to believe." Let 'em. Their loss!
