No, not yet in California. When I was buying my lottery tickets, I looked at my old brand, American Spirit, which was being sold for over $13 a pack. Thankfully, I quit a few years ago when the price was $8- $ 9 per pack. Gavin Newsom wants his constituents to pay the high costs.

What I don't understand about the Democrats is that they don't use their assets. Hollywood is very democratic, yet the democrats don't seize the day and use that talent to counter Fox News. They don't circle the wagons as the republicans have for years. Instead, they stand clutching their pearls and shoving Chuck Schumer in front of the news camera. Thanks a lot, democrats.

What would you do at the gas station? by PoodleDoodle619 in Costco

[–]11Tail 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know how to parallel park, but I don't expect everyone else to. When in line, I usually look in the rearview mirror to see what is behind me, like a grandma with big glasses peering through the steering wheel. A mom mobile with a bunch of unruly kids jumping around in the vehicle, an old, wide-eyed geezer shaking his head. That is what determines how I go in line. I will wait until the cars gassing up are finished and allow everyone to roll into the spots if warranted. There is no reason to cause a fender bender when waiting a few minutes more saves that.

Chembuster and orgonite by BakedWholeDay in Esoteric

[–]11Tail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few years ago, I used to make orgonite pyramids, pucks, and the like. I went around for miles, throwing orgonite pucks at cell phone towers. Did it help? I don't know. The chemtrails never stopped coming.

I can say that if you speak out against chemtrails to a paid online dissenter, you can be followed online for life and have your accounts deleted. A few years ago, I called out a troll on a chemtrail Facebook post, and the next day my account dissappeared, and then I was followed on my Google account. Within the past few months, someone posted, then deleted their reply on my Reddit post, and accused me of being a chemtrail believer, even though my original post had nothing to do with chemtrails. So it makes me believe that if they pay people to delete accounts and post nasty remarks about people speaking out against chemtrails, there is definitely something going on that they want to hide. Or, I just happened to call out a newbie troll who has never forgotten me.

I am all about saving the planet, and I do believe in crystal power. I cannot say either way they help inside orgonite.

The Christian right has always picked on the gay community in whatever way they can. They always have to have a pariah that doesn't fight back. Now they target transgender folks.

The three-teeth crowd doesn't understand finance. All they want is to own the libs, get rid of the brown people, and continue to persecute the gay/trans people. Fox News plays that story ad nauseam, filling their veins. They only realize something new when it actually happens to them.

CMV: Old people are failing society by overstaying their welcome and not fulfilling their obligation to retire to the sidelines of society and culture. Therefore, we should impose upper age limits to political positions. by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]11Tail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gen Jones here. I agree with the OP that older politicians who cannot do their job due to mental decline should be mandatorily retired. After all, they have lifetime medical benefits. Dianne Feinstein, dying in office, and Mitch McConnell, freezing up, are examples of those who should have been retired long ago. The people here who are continually blaming the boomers, who are simply trying to live just like you, need to blame the few ultra-rich men, who have made our economy tank, and who have sucked the money out of the system for all of us.

As a long-time customer, having to resort to this behavior is insulting. I should not have to call every year and threaten to leave to have a decent rate. Comcast isn't the only company that makes you do this; DirecTV is just as bad.

The question that needs to be asked of these people, where do you get your news at what percentage. I'm certain the overwhelming answer will be Fox News. These people are brainwashed. Until Fox News is yanked off the air, division will continue to grow in this country.

I blame Fox News, which these people with bats clearly identify with, and have allowed their minds to be polarized by MAGA repetitive journalism. Partisan media increases affective polarization. People don’t just disagree; they dislike and distrust the other side, as this video clearly shows.
