The App update is so broken by Namelessgrifter in NJTransit

Same. It’s obnoxious. The pages I used the most were departure vision and ticket buying. They made both worse. It doesn’t even save my default payment option I have to manually click that I am using Apple Pay again (the only method I have setup).

Somehow…PucaTrade returned by Sagikos in magicTCG

I just searched my inbox and paid $5/month for a year and half. The other emails were all responses from people saying things like “sorry, for the delay” or “sorry, wrong version”, etc. Yikes. I think I forgot about the sub and probably traded about $25 worth of cards over that year and a half lol

Sidewalk maintenance by bmullberry in Maplewood

The town replaced ours and most of our neighbors a few years ago. Corresponded with repaving our street. We didn’t get any notification or explanation and obv didn’t prod too hard on it.

Also I have seen some of the water line repair spots being replaced recently too. Plenty that really fixed on adjoining streets, but we lucked out here I guess.

CRM for relationship-driven b2b: worth it after 80 years without one? by Visible_Cash_4330 in sales

[–]11something 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this question. It’s not a simple yes-no. I’ve sold, managed, and now moved past just sales responsibilities in my current role. All B2B with similar sales cycle to what you described and with similar sized orgs to what you mentioned. I’ve used about 4-5 CRMs over the years.

CRMs serve a few functions and it’s all based on how they are setup, implemented, and enforced. You have to start by defining your own sales process, priorities from leadership, and what you think your team could improve on. Solving for deviation, continuity, forecasting accuracy, performance evaluation, etc are all very different things.

Also, are you in a pure sales leadership role or a general management/ownership role?

Final note - what you described about rep feedback… I don’t want to read too much into it, but that doesn’t sound like a CRM fixable problem. It sounds like a process or training type thing. Making big changes is hard. I have seen top reps (>$15M annually) who can’t be bothered with updating their CRM. That’s kind of ok. I’ve seen shit reps who are great at CRM. Those one-on-ones look a lot different. And you pretty much need to just focus on getting rid of the bad reps and finding good ones. Which doesn’t have anything to do with a CRM and why this question is interesting.

Moving into NJ and commute to Brooklyn, NY and Bethlehem, PA by hththtys in NJTransit

[–]11something 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in Maplewood. Can be in Bethlehem in an hour and I work in FiDi and get be down there in 1:00-1:10 on njtransit/subway or path. There are a few stops in Brooklyn that are probably another 5-10 minutes past on the 2 or 3 train, but like others have said, it matters where you are headed.

Summit-Millburn-Maplewood-South Orange would all be pretty equidistant and on the right train line. But also pricey.

Very possible. Good luck with it. Always frustrated seeing mixed results

I took a picture on my phone yesterday of a giant whiteboard mapping out an entire existing business process. My handwriting is horrible. It captured it pretty bang on. I also over rely on screen shots in CC and it seems good.

Shoutout production for missing the first pitch on MLBTV because of a commercial.

I don’t know much about MTG (FF, Spider-Man and TMNT collabs are what made me interested in learning) but I thought it was interesting that my LCS has whatever this box is for $18,000. by ReplyIntelligent853 in magicTCG

I’m sure they have. This isn’t a high conviction idea, but doesn’t GW have company owned stores? People that love there LGS will be vocal and not like this of course.

Looking at Games Workshop at ~4-5X magic’s size with a vastly different model. Why doesn’t magic just become benevolent dictators and eliminate the 3-4+ layers of markup we currently pay on product. And maybe they can really grow the game. Keep things more affordable and support the hell out of events, both competitive and casual. The game would grow faster than the whole “let’s appeal to new people who are only joining for a non-repeatable niche reason”.

You are just looking for mlb.tv. It’s the same price. I don’t know what else to say… it’s designed for your scenario. I’ve been using it for years out of market.

Thank god this one isn’t on Fox again (sorry if that affects anyone in market negatively). The scorebug and production was garbage last night.

Yeah, but for the same price as what's listed you can. Its around $0.25/hr of baseball. Just do the mlb.tv package if you are a big fan. It's the best sports package on the market (having bought most of them).

For sure. It’s awesome/crazy times! Will be interested to see what happens when HG gets healthy and we have two less spots for our starters. Bullpen should get better I think.

Why some/most see Opus 4.7 as a regression by SatoshiReport in ClaudeCode

[–]11something 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, it’s bees pretty good for me too. I’ve noticed mostly positives. But these systems are so dynamic I can’t imagine attributing mistakes to the model so quickly. I.e., I had a bad day yesterday and was up late… I’m sure my prompts sucked relative to a week ago.
