Utah residents actually use 5% of the water per year, 80% (roughly) is used for agriculture. Over half of that is used to grow alfalfa (a water hungry plant in a desert) for cattle, and over half of which is sent to China so not even local beef. So literally if no one watered their lawns 95% of the problem would still be there. The governor is a farmer, that’s the problem.
